Stayed in Rowan as a birthday trip for my boyfriend and my first time in the Lake District. The farm and scenery are gorgeous, and the owners are really friendly! The cabins are in a really good location, with plenty to do locally and not too far from places such as Windermere and BarrowinFurness. Had a lovely time and would definitely like to visit again! The cabin itself was really cosy, fully furnished with a tv, couch, towels, dishes etc, really handy!
Francesca
Beautiful little pod, really clean and just perfect. Facilities were great too really friendly and helpful owner! Location is great. Just a 2 min drive into the village were there are loads of local pubs that serve food and little local shops. Great stay!

It was an incredible weekend stay, by far the best hut me and my parter have stayed in. The hut was spotless with a nice message written in the rug on arrival. With beautiful views right outside the door which we was able to enjoy whilst enjoying the hottub, made even better with the pups Meg and Polly checking in, Carol was a absolute delight always on hand if we needed anything or wanted to find places to walk to. Make sure you take Carrots for Charlie and Mindy
Beautiful farm and surroundings. Had the most wonderful time. The pod was so lovely and cosey and we didn't want to come home! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Samantha
On arrival we had a personal welcome from the owners. The pod was immaculately clean and spacious, the best of this style accommodation we have ever had. The hot tub over looking the field was very peaceful. A great location to reach various spots in the lakes.

From the moment we arrived we loved it at Rowan. Carol came over to see us to introduce herself, Meg and the adorable Polly. Plenty advice on walks and things to see. The pod itself was clean, well stocked with all you need. The hot tub was great at the end of the day or if you felt like just chilling. Meg came to see us every day, mostly with her ball!! To top it off Charlie and Mindy, the farm donkeys visited for their carrots, but be aware, they will sulk if you forget
Michael
The place felt really nice and relaxing and the host was so welcoming and friendly. We are definitely going back again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and couldn't of asked for more friendly if we tried, we get to know the owners and got to get up close and personal with the animals who the owners took time out of their daily chores to explain facts to us about the animals and we loved seeing Meg and Polly the new arrival to the farm. Charlie & Mindy the donkeys became our new best friends also. The lodge was spotless and perfect for what we wantedneeded. The hot tub was checked daily and was perfect for us to relax in as soon as we arrived, the veiws and outstanding location was all around just perfection. Rowan was by far the best lodge with perfect views right from the doors. We will be coming back in the future. Thanks Pixie and TJ

A great base to explore the Lake District. The hot tub was great, a real highlight. Cooking facilities, bathroomshower and bedding were all top quality and made the stay a home from home. Staying on a working farm was a bonus and the owners are lovely and very friendly, the farm has lambs, calves, chickens and fresh eggs! and we made friends with the dogs too. A great stay and we cant wait to return.
Stayed in Rowan for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Property was clean and spacious with all the facilities needed. Hot tub was fantastic and well used during our stay. Scenery around the property were stunning. Owners were on hand if required and very friendly. Good location with plenty of walks in the area. Especially enjoyed walking around Tarn How and decided to walk to the top of Black Crag on route. Views of lake Windermere at the top were stunning and well worth the extra walk. Enjoyed eating out a couple of nights at The Rose & Crown in Ulverston and would highly recommend especially the Sunday roast.Would definitely return and would certainly recommend these pods to friends and family.

Just back from a wonderful stay at Low Flan Farm retreat. Pods were comfortable and immaculately clean, most amenities readily available and plenty of space. The area is peaceful with only minimal noise from a nearby road. Views from the pods are gorgeous and it was thoroughly enjoyable taking them in from the warmth of the hot tub

Excellent. The pod was very comfortable and well equipped. Carole was very welcoming and we particularly enjoyed the visits from Meg and Ruby the farm dogs. The location is great for a lakes getaway countryside views and only a 3 minute drive to Ulverston town which has plenty of shops and restaurants.
Mirela
What a tranquil place! The pod was very clean, the jacuzzi was already warm when we got there, the host was nice and helpful. Will go again.
Absolutely loved our stay at the Rowan Pod and would definitely recommend. The views were amazing & so was the hot tub it was just the peace and quiet relaxing break we needed! The only couple of things we had abit of an issue with was the shower and flies. The shower pressure is really low and the temperature gage is next to impossible to use it was constantly flicking between freezing cold and boiling hot and made showering really difficult we also believe that horse flies may be getting in via the fan in the bathroom or theres some kind of nest as they kept appearing in there even after we made a lot of effort to get them out and keep blinds shut. Apart from this, it was a lovely stay and you can really tell how well the owners look after it. We also had Meg the owners sheep dog visiting us everyday for fuss which was a highlight!
Me and my partner went in this cottage from 26 August to 1 September and was an amazing week, the farm is well located near to a village in case something is needed, the cottage is clean and comfortable, the owners are friendly and available for everything, privacy respected, the hot tub is amazing and clean, super quiet place to stay and relax, also all the main lakes are near so you can go and visit all of them, we did one per day. Our experience was amazing, nothing went wrong, I would like to come back and I suggest this place to everyone want to spend even a weekend in peace in a lovely farm.
Robert
We loved our stay there the property was extremely clean and really cheerful we could not fault it in any way and the hot tub was really relaxing and serviced every day by the really nice owners.
