Wren Reviews

Wren was a nice place to stay overall. Situated very close to the Ribblehead Viaduct, with a lovely Outlook. It would be a bit of a squeeze if four Adults were in it possibly for a week. Not a lot of space for storing food etc, the Fridge has a small freezer in it though. Little things like Single ply loo rolls, a fruit bowl would be nice. A Shower Mat is needed as the Shower floor is quite slippy. A few Cobwebs also didn't go unnoticed, Bedside lights, Chandelier, Shower head spring to mind. The Car Park at the end can be snug as well. Especially if the single space is taken, makes it difficult to reverse park in. There is a Cake Cupboard around the corner as well, which is nice.
We were blown away by this breathtakingly beautiful pod. It was immaculately clean. The views are spectacular, even the drive in was absolutely out of this world. The location is excellent for hiking the three peaks! We walked to 2 of them from the pod & back again. The hot tub is a delightful addition given we did some long hikes so at the end of the day that was lovely to use for our tired muscles. We were pleasantly surprised to have an air fryer, we didnt know there would be one & it would have perhaps have changed what wed bought to eat had we known about it prior to arrival. Overall an exceptionally beautiful stay. Would come again for sure.

We had the most beautiful stay and had everything we needed Comfy, cosy, beautiful surroundings

Stayed into the Wren for 4 nights, although the weather was hit and miss. We still very much enjoyed our stay. The pod was clean, well equipped and not at all cramped for the 2 of us. Hot tub and Chimnea a lovely addition. The Railway Inn pub about 15 mins walk away served lovely food and big portions. Plenty of walks around the area with the 3 peaks surrounding the pods. Will definitely be returning.
The pod was very clean, spacious and cosy. We had a great time there this weekend
Kirsty
We are a family of three and our son is twelve we had a fantastic three night stay here. Just what we needed to unwind. The lodge had everything and was clean and safe. Location was perfect and the view from the property door and hot tub were our highlight of the stay.
Weve had a lovely 4 nights in the Wren Pod, absolutely gorgeous pod, lovely & peaceful location, we was lucky for the weather for this time of year! Comfy beds, fab hot tub, couldnt fault anything it was perfect! Highly recommend
We had an amazing stay at the Wren pod. It was extremely clean. The beds were really comfy. There is everything you need and again, very clean. They even leave you wood for the chiminea which was lovely. The only thing we needed was a fly squatter
Stacey
Very nice pod and the views are amazing. Will definitely be booking to stay again.
Nathan
A fantastic time away for my family. So much so we booked the same pod again for next year after 2 days of being there. Great location, very clean and well thought out. The small touches like the games and the information pack show the attention to detail taken place to ensure peoples stays are as easy and fun as possible. The one suggestion I have would be to provide a sweeping brush not just a dust pan and brush set. There is a request to sweep up on departure and by nature you do drag a little dirt in so a full size sweeping brush would be really helpful. Loved every bit of our week and we cant wait to return for another week next year
We stayed as a family of four in the Wren Pod at Three Peaks Pods for four nights and absolutely loved it. The pod itself is finished to a very high standard, exceptionally clean, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. A lovely surprise was discovering an air fryer in the pod not listed in the description which was such a bonus and made cooking really easy. The views from the pod are simply stunning, making it the perfect spot to unwind. I didnt find the pods tricky to locate as Id checked them out on Google Street View beforehand, but I can see how some might miss the turn. The little track road leading to the pods adds to the charm, with sheep and cattle along the way, and our kids had great fun hopping out to open the gates. On arrival, we were welcomed by the farmer, who was very friendly and happy to tell us a bit about the place. Our routine quickly became heading out for the morning or early afternoon, then returning to the pod to relax for the rest of the day. Evenings were spent soaking in the hot tub with a glass of wine, taking in the peaceful surroundings and incredible views. We also enjoyed the short stroll to the local pub, which takes you under the iconic Ribblehead Viaduct. Watching trains pass overhead was a real treat, and for those who enjoy walking, the pod is right on the track for one of the Three Peaks. It was a little too far for our youngest this time, but we did manage the walk to the railway station, which was another lovely experience. The whole setting is so tranquil ideal if youre looking to switch off and enjoy the countryside. Weve stayed in a few pods and glamping sites before, but this is easily one of the very best. Well most definitely be returning!
The pod was great but it could do with a brush to help keep the floors clean ... The pod was great but it could do with a brush to help keep the floors clean and some fly spray or a swatter, due to our fluffy friends close by

We had a lovely stay in Wren pod it was immaculate inside and fitted out lovely, just one thing we felt a broom would have been handy after being out with walking boots on but havent marked it down as it was just our preference, thanks
Suzanne
Absolutely idyllic setting. High end stunning lodges. Attentive owners who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Fantastic value for money. Hot tub was a perfect bonus and was checked Dailly. We would highly recommend and will return.
This was our second visit to Wren and we have thoroughly enjoyed a weeks stay and were fortunate to have fabulous weather. The property is an amazing base to explore the beauty of the Dales and being able to enjoy the hot tub at the end of the day with amazing views was the icing on the cake. We will be back again!
We had a fabulous weekend thankyou. Loved the views and the pods were lovely and clean. We would definitely love to return and was absolutely prefect for the three peaks challenge which some of us did. A very romantic setting. Four of us stayed in one and it was perfect. Cosy but lovely. We came away, feeling very refreshed and had lovely quality time together. The airfryer was a fabulous addition. The welcome basket was beautifully presented and the girls loved the marshmallows. We had a wonderful short walk under the viaduct to the pub. Unfortunately our hot tub stopped working no heat after the first night, but as we came with friends we were able to use theirs. Im sure if we had an issue with this we could have called you. A space for storage would have been very beneficial in the main bedroom rather than the desk. Also, a 'horse' or place to dry the towels on the balcony would have saved wet towels everywhere. These comments are only trying to help you, not a criticism. We have already recommended our stay to friends. The pods are quite close together however are arranged perfectly for privacy and I say again, the views are to die for!
Susannah
We really enjoyed our stay at Wren, the location is really beautiful and the pod was well presented, clean and functional. The hot tub is lovely. We walked to the local pub on several occasions great pub and walked down from the station on arrival. We stayed as a family of 4 and I would say the pod is quite snug, as we expected. Kitchen essentials were provided tea, coffee, biscuits and the hot chocolate sticks were a nice touch thank you. There is very little storageluggage space in the twin room and a shelf for a suitcase andor drawers in main room would be useful. Only other requests would be to make the seating area on the lounge a little more comfortable and maybe a little more local information available. Shower was also excellent.
Accomdation and position was perfect. Stayed in the Wern which has great views of Ingleborough and Whernside.
Darren
Stayed for 3 nights just after the New Year. Brilliant contemporary accommodation surrounded by stunning landscape. Pod was clean, comfy, warm and the super fast WIFI was appreciated by all. The hot tub was great and if clear, the views of the night sky are amazing. The Station Inn is a short walk through the viaduct and serves great home made food. On the departure day there was a heavy snow fall which caused the access road to be blocked but the owners were brilliant and reassured us that there was no rush to depart and even offered an extended stay if required managed to get out after they cleared the roads, they also provided wellies gloves for some fun in the snow which were gratefully received. Overall a fantastic place and we will definitely return.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful lodge and surroundings.
I would like to give a 1 star rating just stop people going so we could go whenever we wanted to but that just wouldnt be fair. Standard is very high, checking in is so easy, location is perfect. We will definitely return and recommend if you want to stay somewhere in Yorkshire, you should stay here, but please dont book it for when we want to go.
We spent a week in October. The owner called on Halloween with sweets for the children. Lovely gesture thank you. The hot tub was well maintained, and checked every day.
Amanda
Thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay, the pod was gorgeous and the views were amazing it was in such a beautiful location. Its a great base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and of course, the Three Peaks. Highly recommended we didnt want to leave!
Steven
Excellent stay beautiful setting and exceptionally presented pods grounds. Hot tub and Chiminea are a nice touch on a nice patio. Were quick to sort an issue with our WiFi too
We stayed for 3 nights over the weekend with a 3 year old. The pods and facilities, including hot tub, are immaculate and the space was more than adequate. Everything you need. Would highly recommend and if we ever are after another quiet, relaxed weekend, well be back.
We have absolutely loved our stay, thank you. The area is stunning with beautiful nature views and the pod was amazing Id happily have it built as a forever home we found it very comfortable, beautifully finished and it had all we needed. The owners made us aware who to contact in their absence and were quick to respond to our request for a high chair. Thank you, wed love to stay again in the future. Marie
We stayed at this lovely property for 5 days and the photos really don't do it justice. The views were amazing, despite being located on a working farm it was incredibly quiet and peaceful. The property itself was very well equipped with everything you need and having a choice of seating areas outside was lovely, a covered seating area and table and bench on the patio. The hot tub was a fantastic addition and was checked daily by the owners. There was also a chimnea with starter pack but we were blessed with beautiful September weather so didn't need to use it. Lots to do in the local area and Windermere is only a 40 minute drive away if you want to travel further afield. Would definitely recommend and can't wait for a return visit.
Louise
Fabulous property in stunning location! The only minor criticism is the lack of storage inside the pod ...it really needs some drawers or extra shelves , it only had hanging space of which there were only 5 hangers which meant we were really just living out of a suitcase for the entire week. Also the carpark is tricky...whilst individual spaces are quite nice and wide, the layout meant if you were the last car in it was tricky to manoeuvre into a space and wouldn't be able to turn around. I'm glad I have a small car. These two things are really only minor though . The pod was warm, clean and comfortable and the owners were very friendly when we saw them in passing as they checked the hottub daily. The location was unbeatable !
Ashley
Im not sure where to start. The pictures alone of the pod were beautiful, but actually being there in person was just something else. The location is stunning! Waking up in the morning to views of the fields, viaduct and hills, was just beautiful! Relaxing in the hot tub under the stars. The pod itself was just adorable! I went with my two children, and I worried that being pretty much in the middle of nowhere would mean theyd struggle to be entertained, however they were just so taken in with where they were, and chatting the sheep that surrounded the site, that they never seemed to struggle to find entertainment. The walk from the pods to The Station Inn pub is a lovely, scenic short walk, and the food at the bar is second to none, again with stunning views of the surrounding area. There is also plenty to do in the surrounding areas that dont require too far of a car journey, so many walks to go on, the caves are just 10 minutes down the road, and Lakeland Maise Maze is just 40 minutes away, perfect day out for families! All in all, I could not recommend this place enough, the owners and cleaners were extremely helpful! And the experience itself was just phenomenal. We will 100 be returning! If youre an outdoors type of person and find beauty in nature, then this is 100 a must for an experience!
Wow what a fantastic stay the accommodation and views were out of this world ! ! The owners were great in directing us where to go and eat was our first trip to the area and even set up the sprinklers for our daughter to play in they could do enough We cant wait too come back
