Oyster Catcher Reviews

A beautiful, fully equipped, comfortable pod. Set in the most stunning surroundings. Will definitely return, thank you.
Rosemary
Wonderful location really peaceful and away from it all with the added bonus of being near the viaduct. The pod was compact, well designed for the space available and warm when the weather was cool. We found the bed very comfortable. On the minus side the hob was faulty plugin electric one later provided, the bathroom door would not stay shut due to a misalignment in the latch mechanism also in small bedroom and kitchen equipment was a bit sparse.
Catherine
Fabulous stay pod was absolutely spotlessly clean, amazing views and hot tub was a great touch . Cant wait to return Amazing
What a lovely place. Stunning location excellent amenities. Only negative is could do with somewhere to hang wet towels and could do with hot tub towels.
Richard
The accommodation was excellent, modern, very clean and well presented with everything you need. We felt very cosy and our children loved it, especially the hot tub, they even made our pup feel at home with a dog bed and bowl and everything we needed to clean up after her as well. The WiFi was a great addition and greatly welcomed with phone signal being very poor in the area and the Bluetooth speakers in the pod made it even more relaxing. We will definitely book again if looking for a short break in the Dales In the future.
We absolutely LOVED our stay in the Oyster Catcher Pod from the minute we walked in everything felt high quality and finished to perfection! The little touches of the coffee and tea bags, Biscuits and especially for our daughter the hot chocolate as this is her favourite was lovely the marshmallows for roasting over the fire was a massive hit with her too. The pod had everything we could ever need especially the kitchen the airfryer was an amazing touch we used this alot. The beds were extremely comfortable we all slept fantastic. Loved the shower felt like you were under a waterfall. Our overall favourite thing was the Hot Tub with the fantastic view over the Three Peaks and our little sheep friends who always came to say hello. We can honestly all say this has been one of our favourite places to stay we have told all our family and friends they need to visit and we will definitely book again 100!! Thank you for a fantastic holiday
Great, thank you

Fabulous stay in Oyster Catcher. Lovely pod with everything needed for a comfortable stay in the Yorkshire Dales. Hot tub and pub nearby a bonus. Will definitely be staying again.
Such an amazing holiday everything you could ever want perfect location credit to the owners
We have just got back from an absolutely wonderful 5 days at the oyster catcher! The pod was perfectly equipped for myself and my husband, 3 kids including a baby and dog. The weather was pretty wild and wet for the duration of our stay but it honestly felt like there was no where I'd rather be in the world than in that cosy pod, with everything we needed surrounded by the most absolutely stunning countryside and views, with a hot tub to venture out into! When we did go for the odd wet walk it was the most perfect warm comforting place to return to! The beds were also so comfy. I've stayed in a lot of holiday rentals places and this is my favourite, none of us wanted to leave and I just can't wait to go back!
Chrissy
Loved our stay in Oyster Catcher. Will go again. Amazing views. Lovely warm space when you get back from a day outside. Our first trip with our pup and it was great.
The pods are fabulous! Despite having poor weather whilst we were there, it didn't spoil our little break away. The pods are very spacious, very clean and the extra touches in the pod were lovely. I would highly recommend the pods to anyone. The location is also amazing. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you x
Alison

Patricia
Thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing, peaceful 3 night stay in the Oyster Catcher, very luxurious in the breath taking surroundings. The pods are all stunning, kitted out to a very hight spec with everything you could ever need. Spotlessly clean, warm and cosy with absolutely stunning views. It was lovely to see the animals on the farm too.
Rachel
Beautiful location. Accommodation wonderful.
Leanne
Beautiful location, pod was spotless and had everything we needed. ..plenty of walks and places to visit nearby...would definitely come back and recommend to friends and family.
Probably one of the nicest accomodation we have ever stayed in, great position, great layout, quality equipment. Would definitely return.
Gareth
Great pods and location really enjoyed our stay. The only thing letting you down was the lack of a dishwasher, switching out the bin storage for a dishwasher would be perfect and definitely get the 5th star.
We choice this place as it seemed perfect for a few days away to rest and relax. Im so glad we did, the oyster catcher was really nice inside with everything you needed. The owner was always just a Whatsapp away if anything was needed, the location is perfect with Ribblehead Viaduct just on its doorstep. Easy place to escape into the countryside for a walk, a country pub with nice ale just 20 min walk away. We went to Wensleydale Creamery just a short drive away, we cant wait to come back
Amanda
The weather was against us but we had the most relaxing time, the host were amazing very accommodating and always ready to handle all our questions etc. They made the stay even more enjoying as they were so attentive wanting to make sure our every needs were met. I forgot an item too and they were so helpful in getting it back to me. The lodge was just cosy and welcoming. I cant fault the holiday one bit an amazing time away locked away in the beautiful country side with the fire place on. We will diff return hopefully we get better weather next time.
This property is in a beautiful location! It is so peaceful and relaxing. The pods are super clean and amazingly furnished. Would definitely go back to stay here again.
