Is this hot tub glamping retreat best suited to couples or families? What standout glamping features and private hot tub can you look forward to? And is it a dog-friendly getaway? Discover if this short break is the right for you.

For Families
Beech is primarily designed for couples rather than families with children. The studio-style pod sleeps 2 in one double bed without separate children's sleeping areas. Glamping Features
The hot tub takes centre stage at Beech with countryside views perfect for evening star-gazing. Set outdoors with open farmland vistas, it provides the ultimate glamping luxury after days exploring Cumbria. The contemporary studio pod features a wood-effect finish externally whilst inside the stylish interior maximises space. Off-road parking sits conveniently beside the pod.
Pet Friendly
Beech does not accept pets due to the working farm location. Active farming operations mean dogs and other animals cannot be accommodated safely. The farm environment includes livestock and machinery that could pose risks to pets. Consider alternative Lake District glamping sites if travelling with your dog or cat.

Lauren
Such a cosy relaxing get away with the hubby & baby! Views were stunning. Short walk to the little village. The pods was super clean, bedding and towels smelt lovely and fresh! Hot tub was hot on arrival and was also really clean! The owners were super friendly! We are definitely going back!
Amazing place to stay with stunning views. Very clean. Owners were very helpful with recomendations of places to visit. Lovely to meet the farm dogs who greeted us on our return from days out with kisses and cuddles. Will definitely be returning.
The owners were so lovely from the moment we arrived. The pod had everything we needed and was so clean. The hot tub was the perfect way to have a chill evening or end a long night. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back!

Absolutely amazing, come for my partners birthday, they had decorated it for us which was just icing on top, the hot tub was amazing, the dogs that lived on the farms were so friendly and we will miss them trying to join us. The owners and famers were so friendly and would give us suggestions on where to go if we had no plans. All round a perfect week away.

The accomodation was good and I enjoyed the hot tub. It is calm, tucked away for those who appreciate privacy. You can visit the central lakes easily from Ulverston with the bus, windermere, browness on pier and do a boat cruise and other fun activities. The only downside was the transportation. If you dont wish to drive, I highly advise you contact taxi companies well in advance of your journeys. They can be found easily on google and buses run on timetable to surrounding places and tourist sites.
We found the accommodation to be very clean with all the facilities you would need. The amazing hot tub was very clean, looked quite new, and was heated on our arrival which was great.the location is perfect too within walking distance to ulverston and a nice drive to coniston and windermere.also loved that it was on a farm where you could watch the cows and chickens. The hosts were great too, on hand to help with any questions. Overall the location and the accommodation were brilliant and the the hot tub made all the difference, when lit up at night especially.looking forward to returning really soon.
Andrew
Overall we were pretty happy with our accommodation, however there were a couple of small issues which would've made our experience much better. 1 A simple privacy screen around the hot tub area. 2 a better quality mattress 3 the electric hob digital display was faulty and we couldn't see the power level we were on, resulting in burnt eggs in the morning. 4 the table next to the hob wasn't clean. It felt like the top of a bar in Yates. It felt sticky and grimey.
Arthur
Amazing place very clean and the views are beautiful. We will definitely be back soon
Quiet and peaceful 4 night stay, clean warm and well equipped eco lodge
Cosy lodge with beautiful scenery. Relaxing hottub. We stayed for 6 nights and enjoyed our stay. Great location for day trips out to surrounding villages and walks. Would recommend.
Melissa
I probably won't say any different to every other review. The Beech pod was spotlessly clean in a beautiful location. The hot tub was checked every day by the owners who were also on hand for information on walks and ideas to do things locally. My grand daughter picked the pod, and although I'm a cottage fan, she loved it and didn't want to leave. We had some friends visit, and they're looking to book one of the pods as they were impressed by them. We all said the experience would be amazing with a snowy backdrop.
Nathan
An excellent property in a great location. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly. Definitely somewhere to return to!
2nd time here looking forward to our 3rd,thank you to Ian & Carol & team for a brilliant 5 nights absolutely fantastic area to visit lots to do. A short walk into town great place to eat out recommend Rose & Crown & The Farmers . Absolutely spotless pod inside & out great hottub especially for stargazing.

The pod and facilities were amazing very cozy And everything you need The views were great The only thing i would say is the hot tub needed to be a little more private as we could see our neighbours But we would stay here again
We would definitely recommend, great accommodation in a great area, easy access for all of the lakes. The hot tub was a relaxing treat after lots of walking. The owner was lovely too, recommending local walks which we didn't do as we had already planned where we were going. We will definitely go back and include the recommended walks.
Amazing Lovely location very peaceful and scenic. Me and my partner went for 2 nights and it was the most loveliest time we were hosted amazingly and the doggies were so cute and friendly always wanting some love, so if you are a dog person definitely recommend. And the hotub was so hot lovely at night overall 100 recommend. a place i definitely want to go back too
Very clean and tidy and the host was lovely. Hot tub is good and has a nice view into the fields, would recommend.
Nathan
Me and my partner stayed at the Beech cabin. It was super clean and well maintained. The scenery is beautiful from the cabin which looks onto the hills. The hot tub was amazing. No faults whatsoever and well be going again for again for sure. The location is perfect as youre close to a lovely town and it only takes 20 minutes to get to Windermere Lake. The host was very welcoming and gave us information on local landmarks and things to do while we were there.
Natasha
We had the best break at Low Flan Farm Retreat. I never wanted to leave. The cabins are roomy and comfortable, had great amenities and were so clean!! Carol and Ian are so helpful and lovely, made us feel right at home. The local town is lovely too. They shared their knowledge about walks, animals, farming, and we loved seeing their beautiful animals. The hot tub was an amazing addition, and it is cleaned every day. The local town is lovely and has everything you need. I felt so relaxed by the end of our trip, and the retreat holds a special place in our hearts, we will be booking again and Ive already told all my family and friends about it!
Rhiannon
Fantastic place, welcoming host, couldnt have done anymore.
Rosemary
We stayed at the Beech for 5 nights. From the day we arrived, Carol has been super helpful and friendly to us. The pod was clean and nicely decorated. It also had all the required utensils in the kitchen. The hot tub is checked by Carol and her team on a daily basis and they kept it nice and clean for us. There are other pods nearby so we didnt feel too isolated but at the same time there was enough privacy to enjoy our trip without worrying about people noticing. The Ulverston town itself is a few minutes drive and Windermere was 40 minutes drive from the pod. Overall, a lovely stay there and would definitely recommend if you like a cozy holiday without the noise of traffic.
Deborah
A very neat and tidy location which is mirrored inside the glamping pod and on the little private patio. The view from the Hot Tub from any of the corner seats is beautiful and serene. The location, within walking distance of Ulverston, means that you dont need to jump in a car if you dont want to as there are shops , cafes and bars and walks on your door step. A fantastic option for an outdoor, peaceful , comfortable break
Shezan
Amazing location great for a getaway
Really lovely stay everything was clean and maintained to a very high order. The only issue I would say if at all would be there was no hand soap in the bathroom. However everything else was amazing. Highly recommend
Lovely little cabin. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and the owners very nice, especially when giving us guidance of places around to go on walks and things to see. Short walk away from shops and places to grab a bite to eat and a short drive to many different attractions. Water pressure in the bathroom sink could do with a little look but other than that a stunning cosy place to stay would definitely recommend.
Matthew
I had an excellent stay at Beech in Ulverston. The accommodation is in a fantastic location with all the facilities needed for a short stay. The hot tub was the perfect reward after a long day of walking in the fells with great views across the hills. Im sure the outside seating area would be wonderful when the weather is more forgiving but the Pod is comfortable and plenty warm and cozy when its windy and wet outside. The cooking facilities were adequate for a few simple home cooked meals and a generously sized fridge is provided for all your fresh supplies. There were some great modern touches like a heated towel rail, USB charge points and fast WIFI. I was travelling on my own but I think two people could be just as comfortable without getting in each others way. If I could have two wishes it would be for a bedside lamp for reading as the main light is a little bright in the evening and some soap in the bathroom would have been nice. All in all though, a great time was had and I would have no hesitation booking again. Thank you for a lovely stay
Aimee Rebekah
Amazing place to stay, would definitely stay again. Modern country interior and brilliant hot tub
Melanie
Wonderful Property, Exactly as described. I particularly liked the fact that each hut was set so that it didn't overlook another, even when in the hot tub. Very kind, helpful family, they should advertise their eggs are for sale!!! They were delicious!

We loved our stay in the Beech. We had everything we needed and we felt like at home. The only thing I would recommend to change is the matress as it was worn out and we could feel it. The rest was perfect!
Everything was great all the facilities were excellent newly built pods very comfortable also Clare is an excellent host, shes always there if you need anything. Would go back there again and highly recommended to everyone.
