Matthew
Great place, cannot fault it. The farmers dogs were hilarious, they do run around the place so watch your shoes if left outside as we learnt the first day but they are lovely friendly dogs. Will definitely be returning to this place, thanks for hosting.
Melissa

Elisabeth
We have visited Low Flan Farm multiple times and it's always amazing. The beds are comfy, there are plenty of pillows, the hot tub is relaxing and the pods are cosy. There were some really thoughtful additions this year. The hosts are warm and friends and our dog loved playing with their beautiful dogs. We will definitely be back.
From the moment we drove through the gate into the Low Flan Farm Retreat, we fell in love with the place. Our pod for our four night stay was Holly, which is the highest pod which offers the best views. Ian and Sandy were the perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Theres a generous size bathroom and the bed was very comfortable. Theres a very roomy fridge and a kettle and a microwave. The hot tub was absolutely brilliant as well, and we were so happy that we had booked here. An absolute gem and one we would recommend without hesitation
Dominic

Everything was brilliant and straight forward really enjoyed the stay there. The only slight niggle is the electric shower was a little temperamental with its temperature but it was no major issue at all.
Beautiful , it was clean, and quite just wot u need after a buzy week . Beautiful green views every way u turned . Hot tub lovely and clean . Highly recommend.. local pubs but not really a lot to do apart from just chill out so ideal

Richard
Really happy with the stay at holly pod first time weve ever stayed in a cabin type place . Its was a lovely experience we were out the way of other guests the place was all we wanted . The hot tub was amazing . Im not sure if we got lucky or if the owners went above and beyond with our bedding etc as it had peacocks all over the bedding which is our family name . Nice touch . Id definitely return . Thank you highly recommended. Oh and the small towns around the area were great also .
Lovely well equipped very clean and peaceful place. Hottub very welcome. Short walk into Ulverston via public footpath. Very dog friendly. Relaxingx
We stayed in one of your pods and I can honestly say amazing clean tidying and the views are phenomenal. And Lulu our dog enjoyed her trip too. Keep up the fantastic job that you are doing and Im sure we will be back soon xx
This was our second stay and will. Not be our last!. Brilliant place perfectly manged.
Adrian
Absolutely brilliant stay, spotlessly clean & very welcoming. Deffo would go back.
We stayed in Holly, one of six pods on this working farm for a 4 night stay. I can honestly say everything was perfect. The owners are very friendly despite being busy with their farm work, and took the time to say hello whenever they could. All the pods look out onto the surrounding countryside with a hot tub that made the stay even more special. You are also able to see and interact with the farm animals and their friendly dogs, again a positive addition to this location. The pods are perfectly sized for couples but can accommodate up to 4 with a sofa bed. This was our first stay in the lakes but will return here without a hesitation.
Hannah
We had an absolutely incredible few days away here. Everything was beautiful, from the pod to the view. It was super clean and the dogs that work on the farm were really friendly and came to say hi every day. We are definitely coming back to stay in the future!

We love our stay and look forward to booking again. The view was amazing, the cabin was very cozy. The staff were very friendly and it was great that it was dog friendly too. Our only issue with our stay was that the hot water in the shower didn't last very long, it was ok for me as I a man with short hair but it wasn't enough for my girlfriend to wash her hair.
Michael

We've had an amazing weekend here at Low Flan Farm. Very relaxing, the surrounding scenery is breathtaking. The pod was comfortable and perfect for our 3 night stay. Ian and Carol the hosts were lovely and very accommodating and friendly. Ulverston is very pretty, lovely walks and a cute quirky market town with everything you need and more. We would love to return to Low Flan Farm.
Agnieszka
Such a lovely spot in Lake District. We enjoyed our Easter break in Holly pod. So relaxing and quiet. Great location and not far from main hiking trails in the Lake District. We hiked on every day and enjoyed soaking in the hot tub in the afternoon or evening. The pod was very clean and you have everything you need for your short breaks. We would love to come back and spend another short break in Holly again!
We had a fantastic stay at Low Flan Farm from 2nd7th March 2024. We stayed in Holly which is the pod at the very top of the field. It's the most secluded and private and has fabulous views over open fields from the French doors. On our checkout day, we were treated to brief introductions to 1 day old lambs and a 1 week old calf that had all been born on the farm. The farm is a fully working farm with eggs for sale and two extremely well behaved and friendly sheep dogs. The chickens are free range and we often saw them wandering around our patio. The pod itself is well appointed with an electric shower as well as microwave, induction hob, kettle and toaster. We brought our own pans I'm a fussy chef and did stir fries, pasta and fajitas without any issues. The hot tub on the patio was amazing and after a long day walking locally or further afield, it was fabulous to be able to soak and chill out for a while. The location of the farm is perfect you're in the Lakes but not in the manically busy with tons of people Lakes. It really easy to get to places with Windermere c30mins away and Keswick about 45mins further on from there. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back without a second thought.
The pods are nestled a stones throw away from Ulverston town centre. They are everything you can see on the pictures and more, we were surprised at how spacious they really were. Once the sun goes down and darkness descends on the farm, you look up and see a magical array of stars glistening in the nights sky. Its absolutely magical. Our host was lovely and we felt that she was so approachable. We even bought half a dozen eggs for 1.50 off her as the chickens are free range around the farm and may even visit you in the morning if youre lucky. You will find the pods are really cosy and after a relaxing evening in the hot tub the bed is just as exciting to jump in! We both had the best nights sleep while here and will 1000 return to Low Flan Farm as it is an absolute gem. Thank you for a lovely weekend and we cant wait to return!
We all had a wonderful time staying in the Holly pod, everywhere was really clean on arrival and it was a perfect base to relax after a full day of walking. We came with our son and the lovely owners provided us with extra bedding for him which was amazing. Our hot tub was cleaned every day and was a perfect end to our day, the temperature was so warm and the peaceful surroundings meant that you could just chill without the feeling of people overlooking. Holly pod was in a perfect area and close enough to get to places like Windermere, Ambleside, Hawkshead, Old Man Coniston. We also ventured to see Beatrix Potter's cottage all of which were around 30min drive. We would definitely recommend staying at Low Fan Farm. Thank you for our wonderful stay we thoroughly enjoyed it.
What an amazing place ! So relaxing cosy and welcoming. The lady who runs it was very lovely and her pets that roamed the farm were just as great ! Everything about is exceeded my expectations. The shower was not the best and was up and down but other than that a 1010 from me.
Shirley
This was such a lovely place to stay, relax and explore the area if you wanted to. The pod was cosy and the hot tub amazing, just what is needed after visiting the lakes, relaxing and overlooking such beautiful countryside. The hosts was lovely and welcoming and were available at any time should we need them. We will definitely be returning, we enjoyed our break so so much!
Ellesse
What a place! Me and my partner stayed here the week before Christmas and had such an amazing time! We were already familiar with the family who run these pods and couldnt wait to come back after staying here in June and it did not disappoint , we knew it wouldnt thats why we re booked , carol and Ian are such lovely genuine people and we had the warmest welcome back , introduced to the newest members of the farm and reacquainted us With the rest of the animals we met back in June These pods were one of the best places we could of spent our Christmas , the pods even had Christmas lights which made it feel so much more festive. Although it wasnt sunshine the weather didnt stop us doing so many activities that are only in walking distance from the farm. For example the Hoad monument , Cumbria way and also the village is only a stones throw away which is Amazing ! The cleanliness was 1010 and they paid so much attention to details such as towels being folded a certain way , you can tell they really want the best for their customers We cannot wait to go back again in summer , such a beautiful clamping site with prices that cannot be matched
Steven
We stayed here for 2 nights over the weekend and although we were hit with snow, we had a great time! Ian and Carol were more than accommodating and helped us get out of the farm and checked up on us to make sure we had everything we need. We will definitely be staying again!
We had an absolutely lovely stay in Holly. It was immaculate and so cosy. We made the most of the amazing hot tub and went in it as much as we could. The area is fantastic and food was lovely in the town of Ulverston which was a very short walk from the farm. Carol the owner was so friendly and welcoming and even gave us some bread so we could feed the chickens which were roaming free living their best lives! We will definitely be back! Thank you so much!
Stacey
My partner and I had a lovely holiday! The pod was clean and fully equipped, the site was well kept. Views were incredible. We would definitely stay again. Only downside was the shower was difficult to keep at a good temperature it would go really hot or really cold. There were no instructions on how to use the heater, where to dispose of rubbish or what to do upon leaving I would have thought there would be a guide within the pod with this information.
Larelle
We have just stayed for 3 nights in the Holly retreat pod for our wedding anniversary and we really enjoyed our stay. It was exactly what we wanted. The location was perfect. You're located on a farm with surrounding farmer's field's but your only a few minutes away from ulverston town, 30 minutes from Coniston lake which is definitely worth a visit and also only 50 minutes from lake windermere. The hot tub was amazing with tranquil views. We loved staying at the farm seeing all the animals, sitting in the hot tub with nothing but the sounds of the animals on the hills. Me and my hubby was so relaxed our whole stay, we've not been this relaxed in a very long time, it was just what we needed. We could of stayed for longer. We highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be returning next year.
Elaine
What a beautiful relaxing place to stay, the owners are very friendly. Every morning they came to test the hot tub and stay and have a chat, nothing was to much trouble for them. The first night we arrived they offered to pick us up food from the Chinese, which was very thoughtful of them after 6 hour drive. The pods are very well thought out, there is everything you need to make your stay pleasant. The hot tub is brilliant and relaxing.
