Willow Reviews

Excellent location, great host. Any issues dealt with promptly. Would not hesitate to stay again.
It was everything we expected and more. We were given a warm welcome and everything was explained to us clearly. Plenty of logs were provided for the log burner and the hot tub. Beautiful surroundings and remember to take your wellies as the car was a short walk across a grassland to the shepherds hut. We absolutely loved it! Thank you.
Christine
The accommodation was as described and was a good base for 2 Perhaps we were naive but we didnt realise it was a walk across a field & this weekend a very wet field to get to the hut. Ooverall a delightful quiet retreat and the hot pool was a bonus.
Andrea
Absolutely loved our stay in 'Willow', peaceful, comfortable but still close to many places to visit. The bike ride along the camel trail to Padstow a highlight. The hot tub was fantastic. Highly recommended.
Charles
Really enjoyed our three nights in Willow. Cleverly designed, comfy bed, good privacy. Very nice hot tub and we enjoyed staring into the embers of the fire pit as night fell. A bit of a squeeze in the bathroom if youre a large person. Great location for your Cornish base camp!
Tracey
The accommodation far exceeded my expectations due to the privacy and small little extra touches like blankets, bathrobes, fresh flowers on the table and plenty of supplies for the wood burning stove. The hot tub was fabulous and the setting and location was perfect. We had an amazing time
We had a lovely stay. Peaceful location and all the facilities we expected. Great way to get close to nature without actually having to be in a tent. Cosy but with all the important mod cons.
Johnathon
Very peaceful and tranquil place. The shepherds hut had everything you would require. We look forward to return visit.
We had a very comfortable stay at Willow and appreciated that the hot tub was ready to go when we arrived. You were very helpful and we couldnt fault anything. Thank you very much.
Very peaceful and pleasant break. Relaxing in a hot tub in the country side helps you unwind after a day spent exploring the local beaches and countryside
Graham
The Shepard's hut was amazing, very well equipped with everything you needed. We would definitely book again.

First time we had stayed in a shepherds hut and wow, we wanted for nothing The hut was really well equipped and the bed really comfortable We'd never been in a hot tub before and now we're completely hooked, and found it so relaxing
We really enjoyed our stay at Willow. It was a lovely, peaceful location, which was a good base for visiting other nearby towns and villages. The shepherd's hut was very clean and well equipped, and although the property having its own hot tub wasn't one of the reasons we picked it, we did end up using it every evening, which was very relaxing, and finished off the day. The outdoor seating area was excellent for a drink in the evening, watching and listening to the wildlife. If we return to the area, we would definitely stay here again.
The hut was gorgeous and we were so lucky with everything. The lodge was well supplied and we felt like we could relax and enjoy our stay in comfort.
Matthew
A great set up! Everything thought of and very private for a relaxing get away. Spotlessly clean and well presented, super comfy bed and great that all fuel wood is supplied. Hot tub under the stars a real highlight! Thanks for a great couple of days!

Christopher
A very nice and cozy property in a lovely location and particularly suitable for a short visit. Highly recommended and we would certainly use again.
Perfect relaxing hideaway in a secluded part of a meadow . The hut is very pretty inside and certainly had everything we needed . The hot tub was a great boon in rather dodgy weather . We will return
Amanda
An amazing stay in a beautiful location! The hot in was fantastic as was our hut! X very clean and comfortable.
Lovely hut, the owners were both really helpful and welcoming. The hot tub was brilliant, we used it loads and the shelter was amazing watching the storm. Will definitely be back!
Excellent Hoilday, Brilliant Location,100 return
The Shepherds Hut is amazing. .everything is there that you could possibly want. The Hot Tub was great. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Christine
Christine Beautiful, quiet relaxing location. Fabulous shepherds hut and hot tub. Lovely owners. Would highly recommend.
We had a lovely stay here. We were late getting in as we drove from North Wales and got a little lost at the last few miles as we hadn't received any information from Sykes for our arrival. When we arrived we were shown to our Shepherd's hut and once we unloaded the car we jumped into the hot tub which was nice and warm for our arrival. The downside for us is we had to drive everywhere, we hadn't done a lot of research. You could walk to town which was a mile and a half but after driving the country lane to the hut we didn't fancy walking that in the dark, although you could get a taxi. We ran out of logs a lot as we were in the hot tub two or three times a day as the weather was pretty chilly at the end of May. Otherwise the hut was good but if it was raining you ended up lying on the bed to read but that is just part and parcel of this type of holiday. We would do this type of holiday again.
100 amazing. Highly recommended. Very relaxing and peaceful.
A lovely stay! The bed wasnt to our liking but that is personal preference, but we had everything we needed. Was quiet and relaxing, and the hot tub was lovely under the stars. Even though there are 3 huts its very secluded and separate. Only problem we had was heavy rain on arrival, and we had to park the other end of the field, so unloading was a pain and the field was very slippy. However I would stay here again as that was a minor issue!
Christine
We had a lovely break in the willow, Peter met us when we arrived a lovely man, lovely shepherds hut comfy bed , everything you would need, very clean, shower amazing , only used hot tub twice due to going out for days, you have to stoke up the fire with logs underneath it , so funny though, loved it so much were coming back in the summer, so we can sit outside near the pond and lay on the sun beds ! ! Wadebridge has lots of shops , cafe and pubs, we never cooked in the hut just had breakfast we had a great time!
Kirsty
The host was lovely and met us on arrival. It was clean, quiet, secluded but within driving distance of the town. Absolutely fabulous, the only suggestion would be a dustpan and brush so that we could have swept the grass up before we left.
Gareth
It was everything I wanted and more. To watch the stars appear one bye one while siting in the hot lube was amazing. It was one of the most relaxing holidays I have ever had
Would have been nice to have been aware that you cannot park your car close to the hut. There is a small car parking area at the bottom of the field where the huts are situated. You have to therefore carry luggage, bags or shopping etc. up and down an uneven grassy incline. Even worse when it is raining.
Michele
Beautiful, quiet location. Immaculate shepherds hut. Helpful and friendly owners. Near to fantastic beaches and the little town of Wadebridge. Absolutely lovely! Would highly recommend.
The wood fired hot tub had been pre lit, quality dressing gowns and towels were provided. The bed had a rest assurred matress the crockery was Denby... the peace and tranquility was incomparable, and the hosts went out of there way to ensure everything was fabulous...from meeting us at the gate, to directions into town and replenishing the firelighters. The accomadation has a luxurious feel and was beautifully presented... Someone has a real eye for interior design and it really enhances that feeling of pure bliss which is enhanced by thoughtful touches such as the flowers on the table and all you need for your first cuppa even a tiny bottle of milk in the fridge that hides with the microwave in the cupboard under the belfast sink. There is a two ring hob and outdoor barbeque, toaster and kettle plus everything you need to cook and wash up with. The shower temperature and force was fab and there is a heated towel rail which dries the towels and keeps the bathroom warm. The log burner is blissfull, it gets very warm very quickly and meant the shepherds hut was toasty and warm. Because of this we braved our private outdoor hot tub during a hail storm. In fact we sat in the hot tub everyday, at different times, watching the sunset seeing the stars come out..looking at the outstanding views and watching the wildlife. The owners are on a continual improvement mission and have now added shelters and screens around the hot tub area to enhance privacy without detracting from the feeling of space or interfering with views. Every second was a treat. It was perfect, blissful, heavenly a total antidote to stress and we can't wait to return.
Brilliant holiday with everything we needed and more. Fantastic location with a beautiful landscape. People there also make staying wonderful. Thanks again!
Oliver
We absolutely loved our holiday! The home was beautiful! Thanks for everything!
Really beautiful place to stay, good central location to get around Cornwall. The owners are extremely welcoming and helpful. If you're the kind of person who likes glamping then this is the better option for you as it has all the facilities you need in one unit. Bring your boots to get to and from the hut as it's in a lovely field. If it's wet the hot tub is a massive bonus to rest after a long day out in Cornwall. There's sun loungers and a table and chairs outside on the grass so you can sit outside and enjoy the weather. In the evening you can warm up by the fire pit. Or have a BBQ on it! We will definitely stay here again. Suggestions a few more kitchen utensils, scissors and a measuring jug for example. A big board over the sink to give you a bit more work top would help prepping dinners. Bed was really comfy and good night sleep. Overall stay was excellent and we will be booking here again soon.
Thomas
Really lovely place to stay, very private and simple. Extremely clean and very friendly hosts. A little bit of a drive to anywhere other than wadebridge rather than walking distance but nice and peaceful. There is limited storage for food and limited utensils but nothing that caused a problem!
