Lovely glamping pid in a quiet area with everything you needed for your stay. Great location for walking and Ullswater.
The pod was beautiful, clean, well maintained, situated in stunning scenery, stunning hot tub. The owners provided robes and slippers and left eggs, milk and a bottle of prosecco and chocolates which we couldn't drink as we don't drink alcohol, the pod was lovely and warm, bed very comfy, we had a wonderful 3 days there. Had to ring owner to ask how to use the hob but they answered straight away and talked me through how to use it
Jessica

We had the best time ever at Crossgate. Jenny was a beautiful glamping pod with everything you need. We loved the additional extras which included fresh eggs from the farm, prosecco and milk as well as a variety of hot drinks. The hot tub was amazing especially in the rain. It was a great base for exploring the lakes. Will definitely be back. Thank you for the lovely memories.

Just returned from a fabulous stay at crossgate glamping in hartsop, all I can ... Just returned from a fabulous stay at crossgate glamping in hartsop, all I can say is wow, what a view to wake up to the pods have a good amount of room, the hosts were lovely and helped us all with everything we needed also had fantastic touches like prosseco marshmallows eggs etc in the pod for us, the hot tub was amazing we used it every evening under the stars, got to see the northern lights and even had the red arrows fly through the valley on route to Edinburgh which was a bonus, the local village of Glenridding is about 3 Miles away, we did walk it but there are areas of no paths, but the village shops and pubs are lovely and sit right on ullswater lake, we really didn't want to leave, we will be back and would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing or walking holiday
We had a lovely stay. Location was beautiful, lodges were larger than expected. We will return in the future.

The pod and hot tub was perfect, everything was cleaned and maintained well and the owners were just fantastic in every way, really friendly and informative about walks in the local area and was very helpful if we needed anything. Location is stunning with fantastic walks, wildlife spotting and just a really quiet area to be able to relax in. Absolutely loved it will advice any one to go and can't wait to go back myself Thank you for every thing and we couldn't have picked a better spot for our holiday

It was incredible stay with a really homely feel to it. The area the lodge is situated gives amazing views and is so so peaceful no matter the time of day. The bits and bobs to make the lodge more welcoming were well received. Nearby walks, hikes and waterfalls are well worth doing while youre there. Privacy is fairly good even though the pods are close to each other. Car parking is nice although it can be a bit of a struggle depending on how much luggage you have. Everything is so well thought of however, and I would recommend to anyone for a lovely place to stay as a couple or as a family while in the perfect Lake District!!!
Amazing stay very clean well kept place

Oliver
The property me and my girlfriend stayed in was gorgeous, very clean and all the facilities you need. Its less than an hour drive to everywhere we wanted to go and plenty of walks within an even shorter drive. The hot tub was an amazing way to relax after a day of exploring.
Stunning location, the pod was so cosy! Hot tub was fantastic after long days of walking, i would highly recommend and we will certainly be coming back again.
Catherine
A lovely cosy glamping experience and the jacuzzi hot tub was luxurious after a day of walking. The welcome goodies and Prosecco were nice thank you. A very enjoyable week in the Lakes in spite of the rain and the heated towel rail great for drying wet clothes. Will definitely come back
What and amazing week away! The Cabin was spotless, cosy and everything we could want. Beautiful views from the hot tub and so many walks straight from your door this is a perfect location. Hosts were really friendly and helpful. And the little extras really make a difference. Cant recommend highly enough.
Absolutely lovely stay, in an amazing location
Amanda
We had a wonderful time in Jenny for a week in August with family and a 3 year old Bearded Colliedog. The pod is very clean and comfortable and has everything you would possibly need for cooking etc. The hot tub and fire pit were fabulous the former with different levels of bubbles, coloured lights and was very clean throughout our stay. The fire pit was perfect for cooking marshmallows and keeping warm at night would recommend a blanket or two to snuggle up with. The mountain view is a glorious sight to wake up to, and you can hear all the animals on the farm sheep, cows, pigs, ducks and plenty of bird song including owls at night lots of big birds to spot and even a jet fighter or two. Diane and her family were lovely and looked after us really well, she popped in on the quad bike if we needed anything we had forgotten. They even provided parasols for us in the hot weather and let my son herd the Mr Darcy the Drake and the Ducks to bed one night which was great fun. The pod is doggy friendly even dog blankets provided and so is the area. Most pubs and restaurants accept furry friends with the odd dog biscuit thrown in for good measure. We even took Dougal on a Canadian Canoe with a lifejacket and he was as good as gold. The location could not be better for Ullswater and the surrounding area, walks we walked to Angle Tarn, Howtown, Helm Crag at Grasmere swims in the lakes Brothers Water and Ullswater, waterfalls high pools at Aira Force and the Ullswater Steamer Glenridding. Would highly recommend. We hope to be back soon!
Great location and access to walks, super well appointed 'pod' made extra special with welcoming treats and we'll definitely be back!
Kristyna
We had the most perfect week away, nestled in the most perfect lodge. Surrounded by all the beauty the Lake District has to offer. To come back and relax in the evenings. Jenny the cabin was perfect, it catered for our every needs and was so cosy. Sitting in the hot tube with the fire and a nice glass of bubbly, listening to sheep gently bleating and soaking up the fantastic views was the best way to unwind. Diane our host was just lovely! It was lovely to find out about each pod and how unique each was. She has put so much love and care into these and it really shows. From the details in the cabin to the little gifts when you arrive, its a personal touch. Thank you for sharing a little bit of your home with us.
Victoria
I spent my 30th birthday here and it is just absolutely beautiful. Lovely owners, stunning surroundings, perfect base for a walking holiday! You might even get a surprise flyby from the fighter jets!
An amazing stay at Crossgate luxury glamping. The location and accommodation were so lovely and the finishing touches really special. A fantastic stay in a beautiful location highly recommend
We had a lovely relaxing stay in our lodge. It was simply stunning, the views, the hot tub and for pit make it a luxury experience. It was our first staycation with our six month old baby and it was very practical. Our baby enjoyed it too. Would definitely recommend!
We recently stayed in the Jenny and I honestly couldnt recommend it enough. The lodge was spacious, clean and so peaceful. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could need including marshmallows for the fire pit
A lovely 3 night stay in this wonderful location. The owners are very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful, the pod is deceptively spacious with everything you may need, but the highlight had to be sitting in the huge hot tub while sipping champagne and taking in the wonderful views all around you. Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend.
