Crossgate Luxury Glamping Reviews

Absolutely loved it Cody little pods hot tub was amazing location was beautiful theres a short walk to a waterfall, lovely and quite The pods were clean, was welcomed by some processco, we got milk and eggs, tea and coffee etc which was lovely. Bed was really comfy,Spacious size pods Not far from Rydal, Rydal caves, lake, the grot waterfalls Rydal hall, theres a little town nearby which looked really nice we just didnt get time to walk around. Would recommend this place to anyone the views whilst in the hot tub are to die for waking up sitting out on the decking on the bench whilst eating breakfast is so nice
We had such a lovely stay in Hartsop Magic, perfect for the two of us. Comfy bed, amazing views, very peaceful. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway
Sophie
The pod was clean and tidy when we arrived and very welcoming with complimentary items such as eggs and milk. The location is lovely, amazing views from the hot tub and plenty of nice walks all close to the area, our favourite was Aira Force Waterfall. We will be coming back again in the future and highly recommend it.
This is one of the best stays we have had. Everything was accurate to the booking and was everything we could have wished for.
Daniel
Lovely stay in a great setting, so peaceful well kept and great facilities
The property was just like the pictures shown online, very cosy in the evening. Lovely walks nearby with stunning views the hot tub was perfect after the long walks. The accommodation was well equipped with everything that you need during your stay, looking forward to booking again
Absolutely amazing place, will definitely be back at some point. Views are amazing and very quiet. Lots of places to go within a short drive. Only thing I would fault is lumpy pillows but i'm very picky. Other than that a perfect place to stay.
Michael

A cosy, clean, very well equipped cabin in a beautiful spot!

Wow what an awesome Glamping pod . I hesitate to say Pod because the space was way larger than expected and top quality through out. Small kitchen was ample for doing a little cooking , and all the needed items were on hand. Some lovely welcome package touches too! Jacuzzi was fantastic, always hot, easy to use and very large. Very quiet at night ! Some good walks direct from the location too, no need to worry about parking elsewhere. Would certainly return and highly recommend this for couples looking for a weekend away in the countryside
A lovely quiet place to just sit back, relax and enjoy the views over the farmhouse. Inside the Pod was lovely too, spotlessly clean and tidy with plenty of space, the pod was bigger than I expected. We had fresh eggs from the farm and a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us. The owner was really nice and friendly, she made us feel at ease as soon as we arrived. We would definitely recommend a visit. I wish wed booked for a full week instead of a long weekend. We will be doing the next time we go.
The pod was comfortable with everything we needed. The view from pod and hot tub was stunning. The owners responded quickly to any questions.
This was a fabulous place to stay for a much needed bit of family time to get away from the hectic lifestyle we lead. I literally have recommended it everyone since Ive been back and I think there is no doubt we will be back too! Thank you and cant wait to come back and see your little pup all grown up!
Louise
Lovely place to stay and pet friendly, lovely location and very helpful staff
A lovely relaxing break for 2 adults, 2 kids and a puppy. We felt cosy and warm in the pods. Fantastic hot tubs. Great location with walks from the front door. Thank you so much!
Great experience great location The pod was just brilliant Thanks
Perfect location and incredibly clean and comfortable place to stay. Provided everything needed and more. Couldnt fault it.
We stayed for 4 nights during half term with our dog and had such a lovely relaxing week, shame about the weather but it didnt stop us. The pod was fantastic and had everything we needed, what was great were the small things they thought about. The bed was really comfy, pod really warm and everything there that you needed in the kitchen. We enjoyed using the hot tub at the end of a long day of mountain biking or walking. Its in easy reach of the Ullswater Way, Askham Fell Loop and not too far from Windermere where we enjoyed a walk to Wray Castle and back. We will definitely be returning at some point to explore more of the lakes. The views from the pod were amazing. On the final night we enjoyed toasting marshmallows on the fire pit. Even the little extras of marshmallows, fire wood, tea coffee and biscuits were really thoughtful. Thank you for a great stay, hopefully see you again soon!
Clean, comfy and well equipped. Lovely location.
We stayed in this accommodation for 9 nights and loved the peace and quiet there. The whirlpool made it even more relaxing. The kitchen is indeed well equipped, but unfortunately not everything was clean. Also, the pans should be replaced as they were very scratched and curved so they could not stand flat on the cooker. We found the mattress saggy because you could feel the springs. And the shower is really very small, even for our slim 8yearold son. Otherwise, the accommodation was very clean and we didn't miss anything. When we arrived, there were even fresh eggs, milk, marshmellows, a champagne and other things like coffee, tea, hot chocholat, cookies... The location is great and the cleaning staff very nice and accommodating! We would definitely recommend this accommodation, thang you for having us!
Simona
We had amazing stay and wished we could have stayed longer! Location was great, cottage had everything needed and more. We will definitely be coming back!
Jonathan
Absolutely amazing cant wait to book again in the near future
Callum
Everything was amazing, 1010! Location, facilities, hospitality, everything! Only one I thing I would suggest is that on Google maps the cabins are too new to be visible and the tag for the company is in the wrong place, but once we got to Hartsop it was very easy to find.
A really lovely glamping experience with a great peaceful location, couldnt fault it. Plenty of room inside, very clean, everything you need for your holiday stay is there, nice touch with the free eggs & Prosecco on arrival. The hot tub is big and was fantastic to use, especially looking up at the stars at night so relaxing
Everything was to a very high standard, loved the hot tub, would definitely ... Everything was to a very high standard, loved the hot tub, would definitely recommend and hope to visit again in the future
We had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay again. The little touches such as, Prosecco, marshmallows, milk, basket of eggs and kindling were well received and were the perfect touch.
Absolutely beautiful property, so much love and car obviously put into it. Perfect owners, stunning setting. Loved every bit.
