Famed for its laid-back atmosphere and surfing lifestyle, North Devon hosts an enchanting cocktail of golden beaches, traditional villages and a rich, rolling countryside steeped in myths and legends. Chambercombe Manor is a lovely 20-minute walk and is famous from its smuggling heritage and paranormal activity. Ilfracombe is just a 5-minute drive away with is historic harbour, while Woolacombe Sands and Saunton Sands are all within easy reach and make for great days out.
