Moel Famau Reviews

Philip
A great getaway, spotlessly clean, fantastic accomodation and a very lovely 1950s tearoom as a bonus. A big thank you to Tina and Alun for making us so welcome and on a brilliantly run glamping site. A special mention for the locally sourced black pudding in our breakfast superb.
Tina and Alun are so accommodating and kind. The accommodation was amazing and the hot tub pre heat service was a great addition. We felt so comfortable, safe and relaxed during our stay. No matter what, if we needed something the hosts would help out or even to just have a chat. Will definitely be coming back
Jessica
A beautiful place to stay, you can really tell the owners care and put alot of effort in their service. Cooked breakfast delivered to the pod, the pancake platter and bbq hamper was all superb. The hot tub preheat service made all the difference not having to do it ourselves. The extra touches were lovely, having slippers & Robe, toothbrush & toothpaste etc. I would highly recommend to anyone, friends & family x

We had a really lovely stay over the Easter weekend. The lodge was clean, comfortable, and wellequipped, making it easy to relax and feel at home straight away. The location was beautiful, with charming towns and countryside all around. Tina was incredibly accommodating and genuinely lovely. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and Id happily return or recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway.
We stayed in a pod for 3 nights over valentines weekend and I couldnt fault anything. We ordered a breakfast hamper which was already in the fridge for us when we got there and all homemade, with valentines bits also. Pod was very clean and bed was so comfy. We also ordered Valentines Day afternoon tea which was unbelievable! All homemade and loved every second. Hot tub was on for whenever we asked and so was sauna. Would highly recommend this stay to anyone and hosts were so nice and chatty with a very quiet area. Will definitely be coming back Roxy

The area and property were both gorgeous! It was lovely and clean, private and quiet! The owners were absolutely amazing, cannot fault them at all, would answer any questions quickly and were very professional alongside being both lovely! We also ordered breakfast which was very decently prices and was delicious and home made which is always better! We will definitely be staying again in the near future and can recommend to anyone considering!
Back home from our stay and feel, relaxed, refreshed and pampered! Great location for exploring & relaxing! Amazing hospitality and beautiful views. We arranged for our hot tub to be at just the right temperature for arrival, and Tina was there to greet you and show you round the Pod, which was spotless and extremely well presented with everything you could need, from towels, dressing gowns, soap, tooth brushes and toothpaste and even slippers! All you need is clothes to wear for your adventures! There was a much appreciated amazing welcome basket with all the essentials and some treats too, even our first drinks to help us relax in the hot tub! They have various packages for special occasion's and even make waffles, pancakes & milkshakes on site brought to your door! Lots of really nice little touches, outside lights, smart TV, even your very own sauna in your pod make the whole place so relaxing and homely. Tina was the perfect host, always at the end of the phone when required and left you to enjoy your stay in total privacy. We will be back when our batteries need recharging again ! Thank you!
Great place to stay. A short drive from the town and not too far for some beautiful walks.

First off we would like to thank Tina & Alun for being very welcoming. This was our first time glamping and what an experience it was. The pods were very clean and elegant more than enough for 2 people to share a comfortable stay. The pods is accompanied with a great sauna & hot tub to which were in at every opportunity. What we liked the most was the privacy of the whole experience. Thanks again Tina & Alun
This was a fantastic stay for 4 nights & would definitely go back to stay again, I fully recommend it for couples. Tina & Alun who run it have done such a marvellous job & are very friendly & helpful. The Glamping pod was amazing with it's own privacy you have a lovely hot tub run by a log burner just outside which we enjoyed every night, there is a pathway to the side that leads to a table & bench that has a lovely view while eating. Inside has a lovely comfortable bed with a skylight above you with blind. The bathroom was lovely with a sauna built in too, just amazing. A lovely kitchen area with tv or hire a barbecue off the site 6 a day for how long you want it for which was just right for us. I'm already looking to go back, it's definitely a 1010 for me. You have your own parking area too just at the front of your Glamping pod so emptying your car is right on the doorstep. It's very clean & tidy, Tina & Alun are a lovely couple that will help you out with anything on site or of any places to visit around the area. Fully recommend
Such a lovely well kept place. The pod is was very clean with exactly what you need. Tina was a great host and couldnt do enough for us. Highly recommended
I had a fabulous time at Moel Famau and did not want to leave. The location and the accommodation are beautiful. We were greeted with a friendly arrival by the hosts who had prewarmed the hot tub for us. The external areas of the lodge are delightful and everything is well maintained, clean and tidy. Internally, the lodge is spectacular. The host had kindly provided bread, milk, crisps, butter and welsh cakes. We had also chosen some extras as we were celebrating a special occasion. There were rose petals on the bed, flowers and champagne for our enjoyment. The lodge is very well equipped. The bed was very comfy and the quilt and pillows were so soft and comfortable. The skylight above the bed is a really nice feature. The bathroom is an ample size and the sauna is great. I enjoyed connecting my music via bluetooth to enjoy in the sauna and the coloured lights are great. The toiletries were very nice and the provision of facecloths was a nice touch. There are multiple seating areas either outside the lodge to the front and to the rear or over in the communal lounging area. You can also sit inside the lodge at the dining room table. The TV had thousands of channels to choose from. These really are luxury lodges. I can't wait to return and would definitely stay for longer than two nights next time.
