Oak Reviews

It was a lovely stay, nice and quiet and amazing views! Will definitely book another stay. Only thing we forgot was we were in a field and if the windows stay open especially the one near the bed, if the little light it on in the evening it attracts lots of moths and little bugs but second night we didnt have that light on and and kept the window on the last latch to allow breeze in. Overall, amazing stay and very relaxing which was very needed as our first childfree get away since having our son.
Michelle
Lovely place, fantastic location. Perfect for total peace and quiet we especially enjoy seeing the sheep so close and the views were amazing. Weve been twice now and wouldnt stay anywhere else in Cornwall!
Had a wonderful 3 night stay at oak lovely location and views, private and relaxed setting. Would definitely stay again, thanks Liz.
Rachel
We absolutely loved our stay! Private and lost in beauty of all around. We especially enjoyed that on arrival we were left to receive our keys in the property and leave the same way. We went for a secluded weekend away and thats what we got. The property was well look after and given to us in lovely condition. The hot tub was a great addition and loved our time in it, with the easy access and not having to worry about sharing. Highly recommend, beautiful stay and will more than likely be back again.
The perfect spot for peace and quiet overlooking the rolling hills and river. We could not have picked a better suited location for us and what we needed.
The property was lovely and had everything we needed! Beautiful home and gorgeous location. The pod itself was really cosy and a home from home. It felt so special to enjoy the hot tub whilst looking over the river and rolling hills of beautiful Cornwall. A special place I have already recommended to so many friends! This is only a suggestion and not a complaint as I know its off of country lanes which makes it so peaceful! the only thing I did consider would be beneficial is a road mirror on the exit of the field onto the country lane opposite the farm just because when you pull out its a bit of a guessing game as to if anything is coming. But thats all. A beautiful stay in a wonderful Lodge. Thank you.
Michelle

We visited for my fiancs birthday and it was the perfect staycation for 2 people. It was clean and compact but still spacious enough. The view from the room is unbeatable, and the hot tub is just the icing on the cake its always super warm too! Liz was an amazing host, accommodating all our needs and requests, we could not have asked for more. Would highly recommend this place to anyone, its a gem!
The hot tub was not checked whilst there and have came home with a rash caused due to the water. Spoke to health centre who stated the owners will not help.
