Defaid Cymreig Reviews

Unbelivable escape in a peacefull place! Thank you!
Aneurin
Lovely Shepherds hut, exceptionally clean, incredible views.
Victoria
We had such a fantastic time at Defaid Cymreig! The cabin was immaculate. We woke up to the most beautiful views in the morning and watching the sunset from the outdoor hot tub was an amazing experience. We had a fantastic meal at the local pub such great service and food! Lowri could not have been more welcoming or more helpful when we left an item at the cabin. Well definitely be returning.
Just back from a lovely 4 night break at the Defaid Cymreig shepherd's hut. Gorgeous location, very peaceful. The huts are lovely, super clean, comfy bed and a hot tub. Could do with some extra hooks for hanging your clothes and maybe a bigger bin for the kichen area but other than that, perfect for a short break away from it all.
Jonathan
Great accommodation and location. Spa bath with a great view of hills and sheep.
A beautifully appointed and comfortable shepherd's hut. Lovely touches by the owners ... milk in the fridge and Welsh Cakes to enjoy. And kind and welcoming people too. The views are just lovely and the area steeped in history. Practice your reversing for the narrow single track roads! I had a delicious and substantial meal at the pub in Llansilin. The hut faces due South so gets the sun all day long. If you take your furry friend with you, note that there is no shade outside so take some shelter for them. I could not recommend this holiday retreat more highly.
Deborah
I took my pooch away for 3 days at this fantastic shepherds hut. It was exactly as advertised, comfortable bed, beautiful views and a safely fenced in garden for the dog, which was the main draw as that is so rare to find. It was exactly what we needed with so many amazing walks a drive away or even a hike up their very own mountain. The property was private but not too isolated with 2 other huts surrounding and the farm. The view out the big window on a morning was just amazing and some sunset al fresco dining and jacuzzi time was fabulous. I have every intention of returning next year Thank you for being great hosts who have thought things through so guests don't need to bring half their own kitchen supplies with them!
Beautiful views, very clean & comfortable stay
Beautiful and idyllic. The hut is immaculate and high quality spec inside and out. The views are incredible and the walks just on your doorstep are fantastic! Particularly Gyrn Moelfre summit that can be started at the side of the location. Couldn't pick a single fault with it. The owners were very friendly as was their lovely dog Freddie Mercury! Looking forward to coming back in October. Thank you for a lovely, lovely stay. 5
