Amazing experience from start to finish! The lodge pod was spotless, cosy, and in a beautiful, peaceful location. We loved our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommend!
We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at stag lodge. So peaceful and quiet, lots of bird life to watch and time to unwind
We had a lovely two week break at Stag Lodge and it was perfect. Comfortable, clean, well equiped and so peaceful. We would reccomend it as a relaxing place to chill out and unwind.
Great location, relaxing few days away. The lodge had everything we needed, would recommend for a peaceful break.
William
I was very impressed upon arrival how clean and tidy the property was and how deceptively spacious. Also the silence outside was deafening! It was my first time glamping. The welcome pack of milk and Prosecco were much appreciated. The shower was fantastic and the bed was soooooo comfy!
Andrew
We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the lodge. It was peaceful and so very quiet considering that we have 2 very reactive dogs. Very secluded but that is what we wanted. The owners Andy and Sarah were very polite and very helpful. I would definitely recommend the lodges to my family and friends. Absolutely fantastic stay.
We had an amazing time at the stag lodge and would highly recommend this to everyone.
Anthony
Lovely little spot great for dogs plenty of space for them to run around and a lively river at the bottom of the land. Plenty of cooking facilities and a nice local pub and restraint 5 min drive away.
It was a lovely restful site and the pod is well built and well maintained. The hot tub being hot on arrival was a lovely touch. We couldn't find the walk down to the river so got in the car. Would be worried about driving down the track in bad wet or icy weather and you need the right car for it to be comfortable perhaps that should be in the details. The fact that it had a sofa and not two chairs would be good to say in the details as that nearly put us off and was a nice suprise. Generally would recommend.
We absolutely loved staying at this cabin! It was huge and way bigger in real life than it looks like on photos. It was super clean and a perfect, relaxing and idyllic break away from the hustle and bustle of busy life. Cant recommend staying here enough!
Darren
Stag Lodge was extremely clean well presented is a lovely quite peaceful setting with stunning views. The owner were so polite and helpful. The welcome package has everything you need for a fantastic stay with menus for food and places to visit. We took the opportunity to go visit some of them and will definitely be returning the stag lodge soon. Xx
Stag lodge was a wonderful place to stay, out the way of all the madness that around us. Sarah was very helpful, and was there if you needed help. I would recommend to anyone if you needed time and space to regenerate, it's the place to be.
Catherine
Stag Lodge is wonderful! So clean and had everything we needed. The prosecco, milk, chocolate & dog treats were a lovely, thoughtful touch. Dog mat and bowls are provided. We took a crate for our puppy and our older dog had her bed and there was still plenty of space in the lodge. Hot tub was lit and heated prior to our arrival. My partner loved the walled fire area,he was in his element and we had a BBQ everyday. Metal chairs provided on the decking area outside,we took our own reclining loungers to use on the grassed area for comfort. Owners were easily contactable and very quick to respond to any queries or issues. Sarah sent very clear instructions on how to reach the property. Thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet of the beautiful stag lodge and we hope to return.
Absolutely wonderful idyllic lodge. Highly recommended. Hot tub was the icing on the cake
Coenraad
Really was a brilliant experience. Place was neat, clean, easy to find. Instructions and customer service was Brilliant. Thanks Sarah!
We absolutely loved staying at the Stag Lodge! It was so clean and had everything we needed! The Prosecco and milk was lovely and it had everything we needed! It was nice to get there and the hot tub was ready for us! It was definitely what we needed! We will definitely be booking again!
Had a 3night gorgeous stay over the Easter weekend. Looks exactly as listed. Pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness considering it is dog friendly! All essentials for kitchen for basic cooking provided. Dog matbed and bowel provided. One thing that may be handy is a mop or wipes so we could help keep floors tidy after the doggos. Hot tub was lit and heated prior to arrival and owners easily contactable when needed! Will definitely stay again if were near the area!

We decided to spend Christmas away from home this year and booked 1 week away at the Stag Lodge. We have found a home away from home. Sarah and Andy were super welcoming with both of us and also our fur baby Daisy. Lodge is well equipped and has everything you need inside to feel like home. We got to experience strom Pia on our holiday but the lodge has keept us warm throughout the day and night, enjoyed Christmas movies on Netflix when raining and the wood fired hot tub during the evenings. Absolutely loved the stone build fire area where we made a BBQ everyday. The nature surrounding the lodge is breathtaking and just a lovely sight for the eye when sipping your morning coffee. Inside the lodge you can find loads of ideas to spend your day if you feel like exploring. So looking foward to book Stag lodge in the future. Thank you Sarah and Andy for a lovely Christmas week
Jennifer
It was a lovely, nice, calm weekend away. Owners were very helpful and accommodating. Would recommend
The stag is a well equipped, resting in the peaceful country side, the property is well maintained and very clean, and the added hot tub is a great bonus.
Just perfect, cannot fault the lodge, the surroundings or the owners. 12 out of 10 across the board. Beautiful setting, all just perfect hot tub amazing! Just so peaceful and what we needed. Only suggestion I would give is the outdoor chairs. They are metal and not relaxing chairs as such, we brought our own fabric type garden chairs that recline etc. the ones at lodge are ok for 30 mins for a cuppa but to sit outside for a long time wether be reading or round fire pit they are not comfy. Cannot wait to re book and come again which we hope will be October November. Would highly reccomended
Stag Lodge was clean and comfortable and ticks all the boxes for a quiet and relaxing holiday break, would definately recommend to family and friends.
Me and my Husband wanted a remote peaceful, romantic break and that's exactly what we got with stag lodge, its an amazing place to stay, hot tub, firepit and the views are incredible, even at night where stargazing is spectacular.
We had such a relaxing and peaceful weekend break. The lodge is absolutely stunning and couldnt fault it one bit! Everything was perfect and Sarah was so welcoming and helpful. Would highly recommend this lodge to anyone interested in staying here. The Prosecco and milk in the fridge was a lovely touch as well and very thoughtful. Thank you so much Sarah and Andy x
Amazing place to stay! ! Very clean and well equipped! Owner Sarah was prompt and welcoming! The Lodge was giving a very calming and relaxing vibe which was perfect for our getaway! Would definitely recommend!!

An amazing little lodge great for privacy and everything you could need
Amazing location, cabin and owners. Would definitely return and would definitely recommend.
Claire
Weve had a fabulous weekend away. Freezing temperatures and lots of snow, but we were toasty in Stag Lodge. The lodge is beautiful, very clean and you want for nothing. The owners have done an amazing job building and furnishing the pod.
Fantastic New Years stay at Stag Lodge. Very clean, cosy and well equipped. Tranquil setting and excellent communication from owners.
Jacques
A lovely cosy stay in a rural and secluded setting. Highly recommended. Very clean and well presented with wood fired hot tub right outside the door on the decking. Would certainly return!
Stag Lodge is an oasis of peace and tranquillity. The lodge is perfectly sized, beautifully clean and very cosy. We loved the log fuelled hot tub under the stars. This was a wonderful way to end a day out. The hosts were helpful, thoughtful and not intrusive. Communication was exceptional. The tea, coffee and sugar were well stocked. There was milk and Prosecco in the fridge for our arrival and the hot tub was on. We would highly recommend a stay at Stag Lodge. We stayed 4 nights in December and didnt want to leave.
Absolutely amazing stay at the lodge, would have loved to of stayed longer. The only complaint we had and this is a very small complaint, is that it was quite difficult to get the hot tub warm. However with the help of Andy it was piping hot all night. We will be back.
Lovely location. Very private. Perfect for a quiet get away!
I just can not give one fault. I'd love to give loads so it doesn't get booked more often so it's always free and I can go whenever I just need to unwind. What a weekend. Welshpool is close by and the raven inn food was great too. But other than that small venture out I had all I could wish for within those walls.Really was all we could have asked for and so much more. Thank you
Myself and a friend shared the cottage for the week and it was a great opportunity to explore around north wales! The cottage was relaxing and had great facilities such as a private garden for the dog
Amanda
I wanted a relaxing tranquil break with my husband thats what I got, slight problem finding it but oh my goodness the setting is superb, stag lodge is beautiful had everything we needed, I would add a food waste bin, we did have a problem with flies but that is nothing to do with the owners we are surrounded by fields with cows and sheep! We met the owners once both lovely people. Some people said we needed a microwave I dont think so the cute little tower cooker unit does everything I loved the rotisserie. I will definitely be back and would definitely recommend it. Absolutely stunning
Property was as described in lovely peaceful setting excellent
