For Families

Glamping Features

The dome combines canvas-style living with solid construction, heating throughout and a fully equipped kitchen. Perfect for couples wanting authentic glamping with modern comforts.
Pet Friendly
The Tri-Pod does not accept pets, so you'll need to arrange care for your dogs or cats elsewhere. The property sits on a working farm where livestock are present, which makes it unsuitable for visiting animals. The owners maintain a strict no-pets policy to protect both the farm animals and the accommodation itself. Consider kennels or pet-sitting services if you're planning to visit this Pembrokeshire retreat.

Duncan
I can not fault this place. ..literally full stop. Beautiful place and so quiet and peaceful it was just what we wanted and needed. I can not fault it in any way at all. The facilities were great and was nice to be able to cook on occasion and also with New Quay 10 minutes away and Abearoan 15 minutes away nice restaurants and bars were just a short trip away. Handy to have the Morrisons local nearby for those last minute food shops but otherwise we were left on our own to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the tripod. We will definitely be going back and I highly recommend this place
Stuart
Such a beautiful place very relaxing would go back again tri pod was fantastic
Claire
The pod was exactly as described, when we needed to contact the owner they responded quickly. I know you cant cater for everyone's needs but for us a little table to sit at inside would be useful, some hooks by the hot tub to hang items and somewheresomething to dry costumes when the weather is cooler owner did bring us an airer when we asked for something This said, the pod is lovely and we would definitely recommend it, it was so peaceful.
Alison

I cant wait for another visit even if the weathers not great it will not put you off the sheltered hot tub . Its so peaceful , safe, great views what more can i say purrrrfect

Absolutely brilliant and truly beautiful! From the moment we arrived, we knew this place was something special. Its the perfect getaway for couples who want to relax, unwind, and enjoy some peaceful time away from the city especially for someone like me coming from Kent, it felt like a breath of fresh air. The surroundings were stunning, calm, and scenic, and one of the highlights was definitely the alpacas roaming around the grounds. Watching them wander about added such a unique and charming touch to the whole experience it made the stay feel even more magical and memorable. Every detail of the accommodation was spot on. Everything was clean, comfortable, and clearly well looked after. You can really tell how much care has gone into making this place feel welcoming and relaxing. The owner was incredibly polite, friendly, and genuinely warm, which made us feel right at home from the start. Its clear they take great pride in the property and want every guest to have an amazing stay. We honestly couldnt have asked for a better escape. Beautiful setting, peaceful atmosphere, adorable alpacas, and topnotch hospitality. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, countryside retreat!
It was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The location is stunning tucked away in peaceful Welsh countryside with amazing views. The pod itself was spotless, warm, and incredibly comfortable. We left feeling relaxed, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful escape in Wales!
My stay at the Tripod at Pantcefn was lovely and just the getaway break I needed. The cabin is a perfect combination of rustic and modern and has everything needed to be comfortable. The shower and bed were great. The surrounding farm is so tranquil I could stay in all day enjoying the view through the large windows. Of the three cabins, the Tripod is the most private. Highly recommended and Ill definitely be back!

I had a lovely 2 night stay, it was exceeded my expectations. You had everything you needed there and the little help QR codes were really thought out. The layout is beautiful and waking up in the morning really made you think youre living a dream. The only thing i will say is even in the colder months the bed area still gets extremely warm but that is no fault of the owner and the fan really helped. If you are going to visit during the windyrainy weather just be aware that the rain is extremely loud. Would 100 recommend!
We thought it was delightful very private which indeed what we wished for adults ... We thought it was delightful very private which indeed what we wished for adults only would definitely return views were amazing alpacas came to visit every morning very peaceful retreat
Barbara
Wow this was so much better than we expected. Beautiful accommodation and so private. Set in a small fenced off field with no other accommodation overlooking us, the views were stunning over open countryside and we not expect to be able to see the sea in the distance. The tripod itself was clean and modern and big enough for the 2 of us. Lovely bathroom however the stairs to the bedroom are steep which we were aware of and therefore I would not recommend this for anyone with mobility problems. The bed was comfortable and the views you woke up to were spectacular. Really enjoyed the outside area which was large with a fantastic hot tub and an outside shower. It was a short drive to New Quay and Aberereon which I are both quaint little seaside towns. Would we come here again, definitely, would we recommend this, yes if you want peace and quiet and relaxation.
Jonathan
What a truly wonderful place. The Tripod was excellent. We cannot fault it. The views were amazing and the property was very comfortable. Would highly recommend for some peace and quiet.
Russell
We loved our stay at the Tripod, staying nearly a week. The accommodation was beautiful, being clean, well equipped and as shown on the listing. Although on a working farm, we found it restful and generally quiet, and the owner was really friendly, on the odd occasion our paths crossed. We spent blissful mornings watching the birds and wildlife in the garden and nearby fields and shelved plans to visit further afield in favour of slower mornings, local beaches and villages trips. Evenings were spent in New Quay armed with frozen cocktails dolphin spotting from the harbour wall. We'd recommend the Dolphin Survey Boat Trips if heading out for a closer look. We were in need of a recharge and the Tripod provided just that. The hot tub was fabulous, and the owner quickly resolved an issue for us when we were out and about. Comments about heat the owner has now provided a fan. A bread knife would definitely be appreciated there's a great bakery in Aberaeron. We fell in love with the area and accommodation and plan to return when we can.
Joanne
Full 5 stars. ..such a lovely accommodation and area. We had a fantastic weeks holiday, accommodation 100, area fantastic. Definitely book, you won't be disappointed. We will definitely return. We have booked many holidays through Sykes, a couple suggestions... Would have appreciated a small welcome pack, eg small fresh milk, bread..just the basics, so if you couldn't get to a shop on your first night you had basics. A bigger frying pan, that is nonstick ..we had to cook breakfast one at a time and everything sticked. The coffee pods, you cannot buy in supermarkets..only on line. So we bought a caffitier and ground coffee. We also left the caffitier in the accommodation for other people to use. Please don't see our few suggestions as a negative...we would definitely book again. Such an amazing place.
Fabulous stay at the end of May to celebrate our mini moon. Well kitted out pod we stayed in the Tri Pod location well signposted from the road within all within easy reach of Newquay. Would 100 recommend and will be returning too. Thanks again. Paul & Jack
We had a wonderful relaxing time, the Tri pod was a fantastic base to come back to from our adventures out and about. The sunsets every evening were spectacular. We are already planning on another visit. There was only one small thing a bread knife would have been very useful for the wonderful locally made bread. But everything else was perfect xxx
The pod was everything it claimed to be. Warm, comfortable and quite spacious. With my recently replaced knee I did struggle to get in and out of the bed but the pod can't be blamed for that. It was so peaceful and although it was isolated the Sat Nav took us right to the parking space. The gravel pathway would have challenged out wheeled suitcase but the owners had thoughtfully provided a spotless wheelbarrow for the purpose.
The tri pod is a stunning place very modern and cosy and the owner was amazing helped us with anything we needed and was super amazing and friendly! ! 1000 coming back for a summer stay and got some of our friends and family already looking to book this stunning place x
Don't Hesitate. Just Book!! The TriPod is just as beautiful in person as it is in the pictures. It is equipped with everything you need, cozy and perfectly decorated. We absolute loved the interior! Hot Tub is perfect for you both to lay down and fully relax after a day of walking. Advises your located on a working farm but we didn't hear anything. Super cute being able to see the alpacas from your bed in the morning grazing in their field. Christmas Tree was also a beautiful touch Highly Recommend. x
Vanessa
Lovely stay very peaceful
Matthew
We absolutely loved the tripod. A home away from home, with all the thought you've put into the extras in there from the Sonos speaker to the robes and slippers, everything we needed was there. It was a beautiful place to stay in a beautiful and tranquil setting and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend you.
Wow! Such a fantastic stay, the place is amazing. We had the best stay and didnt want to leave, not once were we bothered by anyone just left to enjoy our time. Everything was perfect which made our Anniversary weekend the best. Thank you Adam & Natasha
Lauren
If theres availability on this property and youre thinking about it, dont think, just book! Amazing location, a 10 min drive from my favourite place, New Quay! Amazing views to wake up to in a morning and see the amazing sunset and stars, Milky Way at night! The sofa and bed is so comfortable! We had a couple of amazing nights in the hot tub. They warn you that it is on a working farm, we stayed Monday to Thursday and heard no noise at all, we spent a full day in the cottage one of the days and no noise whatsoever! Honestly cant fault anything and we would 100 stay here again! Thank you for a beautiful stay, amazing location and a well needed break!!
Really enjoyed our stay. It was a very special place. We spent a lot of time in the pod as the weather was so bad but had everything we needed. In a nice quiet secluded place.
The perfect weekend getaway, the pod was gorgeous and very private. We were extremely lucky with the weather so got to appreciate the beautiful views, sitting outside on the deck and enjoying the hot tub. Do note there isnt much around at all but great for a time out especially away from a city, highly recommend
This is the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. The views are stunning, the grounds are quiet and there's lots of little towns to explore whilst you're there. As we were staying for four nights, we asked that the hot tub be checked, this was done and cleaned out by a very friendly gentlemen who also recommended a spot for breakfast. We went to the moody cow farm for breakfast whilst the hot tub was cleaned and this was absolutely delicious! Thank you for the perfect spot for my birthday and proposal! We would definitely love to return!
Absolutely beautiful stay at the tripod loved every second just wish we could ... Absolutely beautiful stay at the tripod loved every second just wish we could stay longer only bad thing was very hot where you sleep but heat rises and couldn't be helped they did provide us with a fan wich was amazing looking at booking the rusty boat house next but it's looking like it's fully booked for a while
Relaxing and comfortable stay
What an amazing stay
One of the best if not the very best pods we have been to. Thoughtfully decorated and complete with all mod cons. Particularly liked the wall charging sockets for IPhone and USB. Watching Alpacas watching us from hot tub was fun and very relaxing. One teeny point worth mentioning. The switch for outdoor shower is far too sensitive as it was continuously switching on for no apparent reason. Day and night. Needs to be replaced with a standard waterproof outdoors switch which would help the profit margins no end. This in no way detracted from a very stress free break. Will definitely be back
Vimbai
One of the best places I've stayed. . My only issue was birds pooing on the front door but i guess that comes with the environment. Id like to also suggest having a fan and a thinner duvet coz its pretty warm upstairs. I highly highly recommend this place though i honestly cant wait to go back
Rhianna
Loved our stay! I have a few suggestions but nothing that would take away from the overall stay at all. The main complaint would be how hot it gets upstairs!! I am not good with technology so may have been me but we were there for 5 days and set the thermostat downstairs to 10 but it never went below 20 in the cabin. It was very warm! There were also a LOT of spiders and spider webs, Im not a fan of spiders so I probably noticed it over someone that isnt phased by them but in particular the light is covered in cobwebs. There is also a bird nesting right above the door to the cabin and I had to keep dodging bird poo getting in and out, but this is not something the owner can control. We were also unable to lock the cabin when we went out, the key wouldnt turn at all so the door was unlocked at all times. Other than that theres nothing for me to say, the bed was gorgeous and the most comfort Ive ever stayed in, the views and location were stunning, all facilities were modern and we would definitely come back.
Angela
We stayed at the tri pod for 4 nights and it didnt disappoint! ! What a beautiful place, perfectly situated to get sea views, which were lovely to wake up to every morning. Not overlooked by anything except the alpacas , who we spoke to every day !! Liv
Hassina
The Tripod was Amazing! . Beautiful, Clean and Aesthetically appealing to the eyes. It is beautifully decorated. It had everything you need to feel at home with a taste of luxury. The bonus was the hot tub after a long touring day the hot tub was the medicine to melting those aches, pains and stress away! But the cherry on the top was waking up to those sea views in bed! AMAZING.... The Tripod is located extremely central to everything. We were the first guests to stay in the tripod and very honored. The host was wonderful didnt see him till the end of our stay but he was very attentive and welcoming to any feedback and honestly i had nothing to complain about. I honestly didnt want to go back to busy london but will be definitely coming back to the tripod again cant wait!
