Laird Lodge 4 Reviews

Darren
The lodges are in a fabulous location at the back of a working farm but the views are to die for. We had Highland cows as neighbours all week and although the rain NEVER let off most of the week, the pleasure of having a hot tub under cover was very welcomed. Popping from that to a warm lodge to chill made the week. We had a welcome pack of Tunnocks tea cakes, Scots oatcakes and cheese with a few milk and butter portions just to be able to make a drink before exploring the local shop amenities. I was glad I ordered the breakfast package and seeming we were celebrating our 33rd Wedding Anniversary I surprised my husband with a celebration package of Balloons, petals, chocolates and fizz not that he noticed...lol The lodge had most of the things you needed for a relaxing week.. Didn't get chance to use the egg chair or the setting outside with said weather but could imagine in the summerdry times, chilling in them would be great. The bed itself could possibly do with a new mattress or a bed topper as we slept on the sofa bed most of the week as it felt more comfy, apart from that we were happy with break and the owners were very good with communication. It would be nice to revisited in the drier months.
We had an absolutely fantastic stay! Couldnt fault anything about the place, the area and the facilities. The hot tub was blissful and was checked every morning, the views were absolutely stunning and the highland cows in the field made it 100 times better! We shall be booking again at some point and we would 100 recommend it to anyone.
Amanda
We absolutely loved our stay here. Lodge was really well equipped...a real homely feel with lots of lovely touches. The best bit for us was waking up to the gorgeous countryside views and the fabulous private hot tub. Angie the host was great...very friendly and informative but not intrusive. Welcome gifts in the fridge was well received. Loved it and ideal if you want to recharge the batteries and chill.
Everything was perfect and owner was so helpful and kind. Definitely will plan next trip soon.

The lodge was spotless and well equiped. The owners had left a nice welcome pack. It was so appreciated. We had brought our own tea , coffee, milk etc but a starter pack was supplied. We were warmly greeted on arrival and we were made to feel very welcome and we just had8 to ask if there was anything else we needed. The hot tub was checked every morning. We will definitely come back and i know my family members will also book future breaks here. It was a fantastic weekend of relaxation.
