Wonderful peaceful week in an adylic setting with all the amenities you need. If you want to sit and watch the sun come up from the decking or watching the stars from the hot tub it was perfect. Very relaxing week we would like to thank our hosts for sharing their home.
We stayed here for a week. What can I say the views are amazing, everything was provided for what you would need for a comfortable stay weather your in or out each day, the hottub was a bonus to chill in after a long day out. As for the host she was amazing extremely friendly and approachable nothing was too much for her I would recommend these pods what an amazing week we had we will definitely be booking another getaway
Staying here was a dream! The view, the peacefulness and the tranquility! Absolutely magical on our honeymoon. The host was lovely and came to introduce herself with her lovely dog. No faults whatsoever, I would only ask the host to add some more hooks, clothes rail and full size mirror.
The lodge was fantastic. We loved where it was, the amenities & the hot tub. Everything was just as we would have hoped & we had a fab weekend.
Superb property with stunning views, and great facilities. Really spacious, very comfortable, and the view whilst in the hot tub was glorious.
Beautiful lodge with all essential amenities. Brilliant views, just a shame we had some rainy days. Close enough to walk into Cartmel although the roads are narrow and winding so you need to be mindful of traffic.
Laurie

Where to start , the Lodge, was 10 out of 10. Beautifully kept well maintained and clean. The owner was so helpful and lovely went out her way to answer questions. Beautiful seanory, differently coming back. Would give them 5 stars.
What a beautiful place Very clean well kept lodge the owner has thought of everything from your welcome drink to the very moorish cartmel sticky toffee pudding the facilities provided second to none. Louise thank you
We recently had the pleasure of spending a peaceful weekend away in a cosy pod at the Longland Farm retreats and it was truly an amazing experience. The amenities provided were fantastic. The pod itself was wellequipped, making it feel like a home away from home. One of the highlights was the spacious hot tub, which offered a perfect way to relax after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. It was so nice to be surrounded by nature. Overall, this weekend getaway was exactly what we needed. With lovely walks nearby, a peaceful environment, and comfortable quaint pubs to pop into for a refreshing drink. We left feeling rejuvenated and grateful for the experience. The host was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met while still allowing us plenty of privacy. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life.
Decided to go here for a little weekend away with my boyfriend. It was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The outdoor hot tub was amazing. The location was peaceful and perfect for exploring the Lake District.
Melissa
What a lovely few nights we had here! The cabin was clean and warm. The hot tub was clean and this was checked on a daily basis. The fire was a lovey touch which we enjoyed putting on every night, especially when the snow was coming!
Andrea
We have just returned home after spending 3 nights in high longlands. Everything about it was perfect, such a lovely little escape to relax. The pod was immaculate and the nicest we have stayed in up to now. It has high quality features, a super comfy bed, lovely shower, log burner and hot tub. The kitchen was just enough so you could make all your meals no problem. We loved our time there so much we were sad to leave and will definitely be booking to go back next year.
Hannah
We absolutely loved our weekend at High Longlands. We could completely relax and had a great time just chilling with a fire and lovely food. Cartmel nearby is a beautiful village and we did some a lovely hike up the hill behind the pods too.
Oliver
The holiday was well need and very welcoming. the site is easy to get to, and is a very warm and welcoming place. It was lovely and quite, and the hot tub was very relaxing when you could spend the evening star gazing. would more than happily go back
Tracey
We have stayed at High Longlands several times and it never disappoints. The views from the pod are beautiful and the whole atmosphere is so calm. Absolutely love it here. Louise as always was helpful and friendly. Already looking forward to our next stay. Tracey & Martin
Bradie
Beautiful lodge , over looking beautiful scenery. In very close proximity to the village centre and lots of things to do nearby ! Would highly recommend x
Samantha
The place was amazing, there was just a few tweaks that were missing. No where to hand a few clothes, maybe instead of the heart decoration a couple of clothes pegs would have been helpful. No long mirror, with such nice restaurants it would be nice to see what you look like before you go, maybe one on the front of the bathroom door? The only other thing was a bit of mould in the shower needs scrubbing and treating. Otherwise an amazing place to stay and highly recommend the accommodation to anyone!
Absolutely gorgeous lodge, lovely location, so peaceful, especially the view while sat relaxing in the hot tub. We could've quite easily spent all week in there but there is plenty to do a short drive away. The lodge is well furnished including the kitchenette meaning we could cook meals a few nights rather than having to eat out every night. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be returning. The only thing I would change is possibly some thicker blindscurtains as with the lodge being southfacing, from 4am the sun makes it quite bright in there.
We very much enjoyed our stay at High Longlands. A lovely location, very peaceful and with great views and perfect for relaxing in the hot tub. There was everything we needed for our stay and we would recommend this accommodation. Cartmel is close by with some great places to eat and there is plenty to do in the surrounding area.
Kimberley
What an amazing little find! We couldn't have asked for more, from the stunning views and surroundings, cute and cosy property, fab location, and all round great place to stay. The property had everything we needed. We were caught out on one day by bad weather and enjoyed a full day relaxing in High Longlands. I wish it had been a bit colder so we could have made use of the fire. Everything within the property is well taken care of and maintained and shows from when you arrive and throughout the stay. Our hosts were very welcoming and easy to reach if we needed anything. I couldn't recommend enough. We didn't want to leave and most certainly will be back. We hope to make this our regular stay when we can get back to the Lakes. Thank You for making our first holiday away together the best it could have been.
Andrew
The luxury retreat was certainly that and in such a beautiful location
We had a lovely weekend stay, great hosts and a lovely place to stay. Nice and quiet with a great view.
Natalie
Absolutely fantastic accommodation in the heart of the Lake District, in a quaint little village only approximately a 2025 minute drive from Lake Windermere. Waking up to the most beautiful view on a morning and even having that same beautiful view whilst relaxing in the hot tub was utter bliss, and so peaceful and quiet too. Louise and her gorgeous Labrador Roxy was so welcoming when we arrived and always on hand if needed. Louise also gave us some of her personal favourite recommendations for eateries within the village and local area, but there were also facilities within the lodge for if we wanted to cook for ourselves. We will definitely return! Thank you once again.
We had an amazing stay the pod was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful we will be definitely going back.
Perfect for a quiet break peaceful location with really lovely towns and facilities within short distance. Pod was finished to a high standard, clean and had everything we needed. Hosts were the perfect approach as we knew they were there if we needed them, but not a constant presence. Would recommend to my friends and family and if in the area again would not hesitate to rebook.
Joanne
