Lovesome Pod Reviews

Lovely pod, beautiful area, great hosts. The only thing to mention is the pod is quite small, however there is everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Matthew
Cob webs all over Damaged decking to hot tub area needs modernising andrepair paint. Heating was quite bad did not seem to work. Left sight 1 night early. Seemed expensive in comparison to similar types of places.
Nicola
A truly relaxing and peaceful escape! The hot tub pod is set in a beautiful, undisturbed spot with absolutely spectacular views the perfect place to unwind. Its wonderfully quiet, and the shower down by the hot tub is a lovely bonus after a soak. Facilities are minimal just a microwave, no cooking hob, and no real storage space, so its best suited for short breaks rather than long stays. But for a few days of pure tranquillity and stunning scenery, its absolutely ideal.
What an incredible stay! The pod itself is lovely but the hot tub was amazing. Your fully enclosed around trees so full privacy other than the cows there is a separate toiletshower and changing area down by the hottub and some decking for you to sit and sunbathe. Definitely will be coming back again
We had such a lovely stay at the lovesome pod. When we arrived the host showed us to the pod and hot tub. It was great that the hot tub had a seperate shower and toilet would have loved the shower to have been a bit warmer though! The pod is on a working farm, so it is expected it will smell like a working farm but we had no issues with this being countryside people ourselves. The pod has everything you may need for a short stay, however there is only a small fridge and microwave so that is something to consider if you are staying for longer! We found the pod comfortable and it met our needs. My first time in Northallerton. Highly recommend The Koop for food amazing chicken wings in town centre. I would love to come back thanks for a great and pleasant stay. Kadie and Tony
Amazing, clean and friendly stay. The hosts were very helpful and kind. Would 100 recommend staying here if you get the opportunity to book it . Additionally, the price you cannot argue with for the quality of stay you relieve. Will be staying here again in the future.
We had a lovely break, great little pod and friendly host.
My partner and I had a lovely time in the Lovesome Pod. The views were spectacular, and jumping in the hot tub late at night to a blanket of stars was incredibly special. Just make sure to turn the surrounding lights off, our initial mistake, ha! We had an issue with the toilet continuously flushing, but it was dealt with quickly and without any blame apportioned to us. John and Mary were keen to offer suggestions on where we could eat, and travel to Cod Beck Resevoir is a stunning walk. I particularly loved the early morning visits from the three black farm cats so adorable and small! All in all, a beautiful break away have already recommended to my parents!
Christopher
What a fantastic place this is, the scenery was beautiful the lovesome pod was amazing and 100 clean the hot tub was awesome and we got lucky with 2 clear nights stargazing the only negative feedback i have is that the bed mattress wasn't comfy and also the pillows. other than that we loved it
Gracie
We had THE best time here. The pod was gorgeous, even with only being there for 3 nights we considered it home. We didnt want to leave. Mary was so sweet and even with a couple of slight issues that arose they had a burst pipe that stopped the water for a couple of hours they were hell bent on making everything perfect for us. And it was!! We will definitely be coming back
It was a beautiful pod the owners should be very proud. The hot tub was lovely and clean and ready to use as soon as we got there.
Gareth
Ideal spot for a short stay. The Pod itself was good other than lack of storage space, also read the description and note the only cooking equipment is a toaster, kettle and . Microwave. The hot tub was fine with its own changing room. We spent 4 nights there.
Such a lovely place to stay! The owners were amazing and made sure you had everything you need. I highly recommend to anyone wanting to get away! Would 100 percent go back!
Had the best time. Already looking to rebook

We were warmly greeted by Mary and John and from the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and looked after. Mary brought us freshly picked strawberries which was so nice and also provided helpful information about bus services etc. The pod was so cosy and was equipped with everything you could need. The garden was so private and peaceful, the hot tub was amazing and having a changing room with a, shower and robes supplied was such a nice touch and enhanced our hot tub experience. We had regular visits from a family of cats with the cutest kitten which was lovely. I cannot recommend Lovesome Hill farm highly enough and we plan to return again very soon. Thank you Mary and John, we had a fabulous time.
Very nice stay! Clean, peaceful, location wise really good. Owners really nice and helpful.
Could do with blackout curtains on main door window. More plastic glasses for hot tub the thin one was not suitable for any drink
Me and my girlfriend had a lovely weekend here. The pod is bigger than it looks on the pictures, Mary and John were very welcoming. A great weekend, nice and relaxed. The hot tub was great too
Thomas
Great pod, lovely couple on the farm so helpful and kind
Had a lovely weekend, so peaceful and relaxing would definitely book again
Jordan
Great for a short get away! Me and my partner had a great time at the Lovesome pod. Would definitely recommend.
Kirsten
We stayed at the Lovesome pod for 3 nights and it was just what we needed! The hot tub was lush and the pod was cute, cosy and warm. Mary was on hand if needed, ensuring the hot tub had chemical top ups daily, providing us with mince pies on arrival and checking we had everything we needed. Absolutely fabulous stay, would definitely recommend!
Thomas
We absolutely loved our stay at the Lovesome Pod! It has everything you could possibly need and its a nice little bonus that there was a shower room next to the Hot Tub. The Hot Tub is just a 5 second walk from the pod and its so relaxing, we ended up spending the entire evenings in it looking at the stars
We had a fantastic time, will be highly recommended and will most definitely be back
The property was fantastic. Really cosy. The hot tub was amazing, lovely nights spent under the stars. Mary made us feel welcome from the start, we will definitely be back.
Jessica
Myself and my partner had the best time at the lovesome hill pod. It was exactly as was described and listed on the Sykes cottages website. The hot tub was great and there was everything we needed for our stay. The hosts were easy to communicate with too. Thanks so much!
Katelynn
Nowhere in the listing does it say that you can't use a bbq, the pod doesn't have a oven or a grill so you are expected to cook using noting but a microwave, also nowhere in the listing does it mention that the hottub is attached to a cow shed so the smell of cow manure is almost unbearable. Not to mention the fact that you allowed to use 1 feaute on the hot tub and are constantly pestered by the hosts wanting to check on the hottub. On arrival home i received a phone call accusing me of staining bathmats with red wine when neither me or my partner drink alcohol fullstop and there was no bath mats in the facility's we used also accused us of wiping our bums on their towels when we brought our own towels and never used their and who would do that anyway. 100 would not recommend avoid at all costs!!
A gem of a place with a fantastic relaxed atmosphere. The hosts were very kind and amenable .Its a working farm so there are plenty of cows to be seen ,which added to the relaxation. The pod is situated in a perfect place to go exploring .If you want to stay close by North Allerton is such an interesting town with a thriving market. All in all we couldn't fault our stay Not forgetting the amazing hot tub ,which is private well looked after .We will be back .
Couldn't fault this place at all. So impressed with everything the location was perfect, the host was lovely and the hot tub and facilities were amazing. We will definitely be back in the future. The most lovely relaxing holiday... We've been raving about it so much some family members have already booked.
Charlie Jean
Amazing place to stay! Gorgeous pod and lovely hot tub, perfect for relaxing. There so amazing places near by to visit, and lovely walks around castles and in nature places.
I booked a short stay at lovesome pod for my wife's birthday, Absolutely loved the place, very cozy and warm. Even though it's on a farm, we found it very quiet and relaxing and would recommend to others. We would definitely like to stay again in the future. Thankyou very very much for a lovely time
Henrietta
We had a lovely time, the pod and hot tub are nice and private. Lovely place to just relax and walk in the local areas.
We absolutely loved our stay. The pod was clean, fresh milk waiting in the fridge. Mary came across to show us how to use the hot tub and suggested a couple of places for a walk which were lovely then we were left to our own devices. Although its on a working farm, we couldnt hear any noise at all. Our only suggestion would be a roof of some sort over the hot tub and a bigger towel rail in the changing area but it wasnt an issue, even in the rain!
Antony
Had a lovely stay. 1st time in a pod, very cosy, mary was a lovely host who saw to our every need. the hot tub was great as where the views from the decking. would highly recommend this place. tony thompson.

Andrew
Upon arrival we were shown the lodge and given our keys. Mary had left homemade cookies in the lodge for us and a jug of milk for a brew in the morning. She showed us how to use the hot tub and then we were free to do as we pleased for the next couple of days. The lodge was gorgeous and clean. The farm had 2 kittens that were absolutely adorable. 1010 would go again. Very good value for money too
Elizabeth
