4 Pheasant Lane Reviews

We had a brilliant Xmas week at no. 4. The house was spotless and extremely well equipped. Very comfortable and spacious open plan main room. Lovely and warm, we didnt need to use the fire. Everybody loved the hot tub. Such a great location, very peaceful, ideal for walks from the door. Only 10 mins or so to Stockbridge for a wide array of shops. Would happily return. Thank you for the hamper and all the Xmas decorations, much appreciated.
Lovely property. In beautiful countryside, walks from the front door. Lots of outside space. Self contained if you have a large dog, sadly our dashund could escape under the main gate and enjoyed trying. Well equipped. Comfortable sofa with lots of space to stretch out. Internet connection a bit patchy for the TV. Tons of pans and kitchen equipment. Hobtop took a bit of patience to learn but we got it in the end. We were there 11nights so had a couple of delivery shops, both Ocado and Waitrose serve the area, which was useful. Bring along an ice cube tray and cafetire if those are things you value. Communications very easy, prompt replies to messages. Recommended.

Beautiful cottage! Easy check in with a key safe. The cottage had everything you could need and more, they went the extra mile with towels for the hot tub, toiletries, cleaning products and the most generous hamper!! Lovely added bonus of the shepherd's hut. We would definitely stay again.

We had such a wonderful stay at this charming cottage. It is much more spacious than the photos suggest, and it is very well maintained and comfortable. The patio, complete with a whirlpool, outdoor seating area, and an oven for pizza, is great. It is charmingly decorated and wellappointed. The only downside if you can call it that is that the description said it had 2 bathrooms, when in fact, only one can be used. The toilet in the cottage hut is a cassette toilet and is not available for use unless in an emergency. The other thing we were not aware of was that it is a 'selfservice' cottage. That is not a problem if one is prepared for that, but we came from the United States and were so glad that we rented a car so that we could go shopping! Other than that, I loved this place and am looking forward to my next visit.
I thought this was a very good property it felt like a home and a good standard ... I thought this was a very good property it felt like a home and a good standard of equipment through out a few minor points the small track leading up to the house could do with a little maintenence some big holes in the road starting to appear nothing a bag of gravel from time to time wouldn't sort out, a coffee machine would be great and the outside area beginning to deteriate a little but that will l happen other than that great place loved the layout, the log burner great a good standard across we had some minor issues the management team were great and straight away addressed them with great communication and later transpired wasn't really anything at all would stay again but we visit Sheffield for family and friends a lot so wouldn't stay all the time as a liitle on the expensive side for us the sheppards hut was very cosy for our friends and they loved it it's a thumbs up from us would be great in the summer with all the equipment outside and finally hot tub was fantastic, clean as well thanks for having us and keep up the good work and standard the hagues

The holiday home was as shown in pictures and description. We had a great time and felt comfortable. The hot tub was a delight. The property was well equipped with everything you need on a daily basis. We were given a lovely welcome pack filled with tea coffee biscuits. The area is so peaceful, safe and has some lovely scenery where we went for walks. The hosts were very welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. They gave our little one a birthday present as we were celebrating it while on holiday. It was completely unexpected and such a lovely gesture. The only thing I would say is the bathroom needs a shower curtain as water splashes out of the tub quite a bit. Other than that no issues and had a lovely stay. Would come back and definitely recommend.
