Acorn was as beautiful as it was enchanting in such a lovely setting and the amenities were second to none. Absolutely perfect in every way, the wood fired hot tub was an added bonus and it was so easy to use with clear instructions provided. Spotless and very well equipped. It's a ten from us. Thank you to James and Amy.

This was the first time I had stayed in a Shepherds hut and I did not disappoint! It was exactly as the photos and the place was clean and tidy waiting for us to arrive. The owners were very thorough and had a booklet of all useful information during our stay eg how to light the fire for the hot tub, nearest waste bins etc. Everything we couldve possibly needed was available for us. The location was nice as well very serene and quiet and a public footpath nearby. We were secluded from the rest of the property which was really nice for a quiet retreat. I would definitely recommend this place and I would consider coming back!
Lovely stay at Acorn, peaceful and plenty to do around the area host was ... Lovely stay at Acorn, peaceful and plenty to do around the area host was fantastic and the property had everything you need
Alexandra
Stayed for a couples break after our wedding mini moon! for four nights. We absolutely loved the shepherd's hut it is very well designed to have everything you could need in a small space, without it feeling too small. Everything from the windows to the cutlery was great quality. The bed was very comfortable and the shower hot with great pressure, which are always two concerns when staying in a 'glamping' type property. We particularly liked that there was a french press and ground coffee available, and we made good use of the BBQ and bike stand! The host met us on arrival to ensure we had everything we needed and knew how to work the hot tub etc. The shepherds hut isn't overlooked at all so is a very private location overlooking a field. Bleadon village is only a 20 minute walk7 minute bike ride away and has a lovely pub! And a slightly longer bike rideshort drive to WestonBurnham and other local activities. Loved our stay, thankyou!
We had an amazing time at acorn lodge. We will defiantly be back. Sam has already had family and friends asking for the website to look at booking. James and Amy are always so helpful and always there or at the end of a phone to answer any questions we had. Such an amazing place.
Michael
Very different but great fun. Such a change from our lives in Bournemouth. Great views from the hut made better by the presence of sheep and cows in the fields. Highly recommended for couples who want peace and quiet and privacy.
We had an amazing 4 day stay. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. It was so peaceful and relaxing, the hot tub was very nice and used everyday. Not far from the beach and everything you need. James and Amy were very friendly and happy to help with any issues you might have. We would highly recommend to anyone wanting a lovely break away. Definitely 1010.
Sophie
We spent the bank holiday weekend here and it was lovely. A perfect sized hut for a couples get away. The hot tub was great and not overlooked by anyone else. I would definitely recommend coming her for a relaxing weekend away. Also had a great time going to Cheddar and Weston.
Fantastic stay at Acorn, was lovely from start to finish and James the owner was more than attentive! Would definitely stay again!
We had a lovely stay, owner was friendly and helpful, everything was incredibly clean and comfy. We would love to come back and stay and ill definitely be recommending to friends. Only issue was the hot tub being a little confusing and difficult to use as people whove never used log burners before, but not enough of a problem to spoil the lovely time we had staying here.
The property was clean, tidy and very comfortable. The location was beautiful and everybody was super friendly. Would definitely recommend to others and would return again in the future.
Isabella

Very pleasant stay could not fault our entire stay very clean and everything you could need
We had a very enjoyable stay at Acorn. The location and facilities suited our needs perfectly. The property is well designed and had all we needed and more. A perfect get away for couples. The hot tub was used each day to soothe our aching bones after days out exploring.
