The Happy Valley Pod Reviews

Brilliant place. Loved the area. One thing, the nettles and thistles surrounding the hot tub could be cut back as we stung ourselves a couple of times. The hot tub was amazing.
Adrian
This place is beautiful! Waking up every morning to the sound of sheep and their lambs, having chickens and ducks wandering through the garden and being able to enjoy the surroundings in the hot tub all made this the perfect getaway! The pod was so comfortable and the hosts were super friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend!
Such a wonderful romantic getaway. Fantastic views around here. Loved watching the animals in the morningevenings. The pod was clean and had everything we could need for a few days away. Would definitely come back here to enjoy the piece and quiet.
Sharon
This property was everything described and what we wanted ! J and J were very friendly and helpful. The pod was situated in such a brilliant central area for where we were wanting to visit! the restaurants in the area amazing! The Falklands Arms plus the little coffee shop next door in Great Tew worth a visit! The pod was well aquipped warm and very peaceful.. the animals were friendly and enjoyed sone bread and crackers we shared with them The hot tub says takes 23 hrs too warm i would say at least 56 hours to a good temp All in all i would say stay here you will not be disappointed a fantastic stay thankyou so very much Sharon and Paul xx
Rebecca
The comfort score is based on the poor quality mattress which resulted in not being able to sleep for two nights. You could feel every lump and bump of the coils. It really took away from the experience. Everything else was lovely.
Daniel
Wonderful experience, again! Kitchen set up is good, very usable. Hot tub and bbq very usable as well. Farm animals lovely to hear and watch all day. Thank you again, definitely recommend to anyone.
Lucianna
It was lovely, cosy and romantic, it got everything you need to cook with and even got an air fryer! All the sheep and chickens were entertaining to watch in the field alongside an amazing view to wake up to. The wood fired hot tub is an effective idea however there is no thermostat or temperature gauge to know if its safe to get in as on a couple of occasions of our stay we couldnt get into it and use it as it was too hot but other than that I loved that they used eco friendly natural products in the hot tub rather than chlorine and it still felt clean! This lovely cosy pod is great as a base for exploring the Cotswolds. Its situated 10mins away from shops and restaurantspubs in Chipping Norton itself. Its an ideal getaway for two Would recommend!
Leanne
We had a lovely, peaceful stay, the hosts were very helpful and friendly
The cabin was compact and very comfortable. Hot tub very inviting, we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay, would highly recommend.
We had an amazing stay and that pod was really lovely and clean inside! Lovely setting and really friendly hosts who were really quick to reply to any messages we sent them! We were a bit put off by the hot tub as it wasnt chlorinated and on the floor there was quite a few chunks of bits which we didnt know what they were we felt it would be a lot more hygienic and welcoming if it was chlorinated as we would know that it would be clean! We braved it once and it was lovely once we got over the fact that the bits would be floating about in there!
Samantha
Sincere thanks for a wonderful stay and the lengths you went to on a last minute hot tub repair on arrival so we could have bubbles on our first night. The property is beautiful and we had the most relaxing time watching the wildlife, the Red Kites performing acrobatics had us captivated for hours. And we fell in love with the farm animals, especially the duck procession and the chicken that popped into say hello. I will be highly recommending to all of my friends.
This pod really is a little piece of heaven! Stunning views and scenery, very tranquil, the perfect place to rest, relax and unwind. The pod has everything you need for this. The hot tub is just amazing..we saw the most beautiful sunrises and sunset. All while listening to the sheep some are very friendly and want to come and say hello!. The hosts are fantastic, they trult habe put their heart into creating the perfect getaway
