Llugwy Pod Reviews

I stayed here with my friend for 3 nights and it was such a luxury getaway! The setting is absolutely stunning, very remote but also close to a good sized town and many great hiking tracks. We got very lucky with a clear sky on our last night so sat in the hot tub and by the fire under the stars. Place is set up perfectly and well designed. Highly recommend!

Jane is a fantastic host! When we had issues with the hot tub after Storm Amy, she was so quick to sort it and to bring candles when the power went out. The pod is fantastic. It has everything you need and feels comfortable and cosy. Location is great as BetwsyCoed is such a beautiful little village. Highly recommend this for anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of life.
Rebecca
Beautiful property with gorgeous surroundings. We loved how peaceful it was. Beds were super comfy and the hot tub was lush! Only thing is the shops and pubsrestaurants are not walkable, but was only a short drive away. Loved the little extras as well, was not expecting it and made the whole trip feel luxurious. We did not want to leave! Will definitely return!
Alexis
Very well located, clean and equipped place. The gardens were immaculately kept and the hot tub was ready and waiting for us. The hot water was temperamental and the WiFi unusable I only wanted to plan a route and check the weather. Although its billed as two bedrooms, the room with the bunks does not have a door which Id not realised from the photos so it offers very little privacy if you want to put kids to bed and stay up yourself. All in all, a magical place that is very central to all the places you might go in North Wales and it offers a quirky stay.
We had a amazing weekend away in the pod. The pod was cleaned and it was a surprise to find a bottle of prosecco with chocolates and cake on arrival. The jacuzzi was relaxing and clean and the view of the land was stunning. The owner was very friendly. I would recommend this site to people as its good value for money.
Camilla
Perfect place for the weekend! Everything you need right on the doorstep and the view is just stunning! Jane was an absolutely fantastic host, cant recommend enough.
Exactly as advertised. Fantastic position on top of a hill. Sitting in a hot tub that is very private, looking at stars with no light pollution, a wonderful experience. Very thing was perfect. Jane contacted us to check everything was alright , a welcome gift of wine, cakes and chocolates, was a bonus. Highly recommend this for the peace and tranquility. Thank you Jane.

We stayed for a long weekend and had an amazing time. The pod was clean, tidy and we had everything we needed during our stay. The hot tub is a lovely extra and the owners made sure it was at optimal temperature for us. Thank you so much, we would definitely love to return!
Lillie
Amazing place and amazing host, everything was so comforting and we really had a pleasurable stay.
Adrian
Absolutely stunning setting. Away from all road noise and light pollution. The pod is small, cozy and cute with all the facilities to make it home for our short stay. Have already recommended it to family and friends. Only thing facility wise I think could be Improved would be bigger towel raildrying facilities. For wet items after being in the hot tub. However this was only a small thing and the place is perfect.
Melissa
Amazing stay, had everything that we needed, host was lovely and welcoming. Will definitely be coming back again. Would recommend to anyone!
Spent a week here from15th March 2024 had a great time, pod had everything we needed . Under floor heating kept the pod lovely and warm. A top spec hot tub was a perfect end after walking all day .Jane the host was helpfull friendly and only a phone call away if needed and left a welcome gift of prosecco and chocolates .Only a short drive to coast and snowdon lots to see out and about .We will no doubt return in the near future .
Joseph
Im not one to leave reviews but felt compelled to do so on this occasion. . the most prefect spot to set up home for a month let alone a short break. Has everything you want and more. Amazing location. Rest of the world didnt exist when staying in this little pod.. but having the town of Betws a 5 min drive away is great also! Zero light pollution here. So really enjoyed the piping hot jacuzzi under the stars in the evenings after a day in the hill! Prefect for a family of 4! Spotlessly clean, felt like we were the first to stay there. Its was 3 outside when we stayed and a toasty 26c inside thanks to the underfloor heating. Perfect!
