We absolutely loved our stay at Caban Tirion. Perfect accommodation, outstanding scenery especially in the snow and the hosts were so lovely, kind & knowledgeable of the local area. Can't wait to book again!

Overall brilliant stay, everything we could ever want was there. Very cosy and amazing location. Hosts were lovely, very welcoming.

Booked for my partners early birthday treat. We found it easily with the directions given. Upon arriving we were escorted by some friendly sheep down the lane. The cabin was immaculate with some little snacks and other bits for making a well earned brew after our journey. The views were amazing with a waterfall coming down the hill. Helen popped her head in to introduce herself and was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. We visited portmeirion on her recommendation for the christmas market and it was lovely. The foxes cross was also a great place to eat and not to far away by car. Barmouth beach was only a 30minute drive up the road and the views on the way there were awesome. The hot tub was perfect even in the rain. And the sauna soon warmed us up after. We loved this place and will be back.

Absolutely incredible stay! If you are looking for an escape with true relaxation and breathtaking views, this is the place. The private hot tub and sauna were gamechangers. Everything was clean, easy to use, and felt like a highend spa experience right outside our door. A genuinely peaceful and rejuvenating retreat. We can't wait to return!
Exceptional place, stunning views all around, the hot tub and sauna were a delight. The place was clean, cosy, and the welcome pack of Welsh cakes and crisps were much appreciated as was the milk and cans of lemonade in the fridge, not one single negative, loved it so much, we booked to go back whilst we were there, 5 star plus!!!
The most beautiful little cabin. Helen and Berwyn the owners really have thought of everything. The views are truly spectacular. Cannot wait to stay again.

Wonderful place in a fantastic location. Stunning walks on your doorstep & a short ride from the local town. Many places of interest within an hours drive followed by complete relaxation in the hot tub. A little piece of heaven here on earth. Cabin has everything you need & the hosts are very helpful.
Well appointed pod in a great location. We loved the clever use of outside space, and sitting by the fire in the evening. Plus the sauna was a bonus after long days out.

Caban Tirion is a hidden gem. We spent 3 nights here for our honeymoon and it was perfect. Although it rained nonstop, a lot of time was spent in the hot tub admiring the stunning views with an umbrella and glass of prosecco. The sauna was a real winner for us too! Other than a few walking trails and a local shopcafpub there isn't a huge amount to do nearby, but you can find all the essential amenities just a 10 minute drive away in beautiful Dolgellau. The cabin was well furnished, although we found the bar stools to be in the way and not really necessary, and stocked with just the right amount of cooking equipment. We met the owner Helen during our stay, she was lovely and told us her plans to improve the place i.e. shelter for the decking area come rain or shine. Another addition we'd like to suggest is somewhere to place wet clothingmuddy shoes outside. We found ourselves having to bring such items inside which wasn't ideal!. We were very pleased with our visit and will be sure to return in the future...maybe in the drier months and for longer than 3 nights!
A beautiful cosy cabin in amazing surroundings, with more than the comforts of home including a intimate hot tub for two and a luxury sauna. Just an all round relaxing experience you'll never want to leave.
The most perfect getaway hidden away in the mountains but close enough to drive to lovely mountain walks and the beach. The owners were lovely and the cabin was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The hot tub and views are perfect and we would highly recommend for a lovely holiday stay.
Place was great and catered for everything we needed and more. The outside space was fantastic, especially with the weather. We could have sat there all day. From a personal point of view i didn't think the breakfast stools were needed and got in the way a bit. That space could be used for a set of drawers for clothes and the rest for the bin etc... especially when staying for a week and wanting to unpack properly. That is just a minor adjustment and wouldn't stop us from booking again. A fantastic place to sit all day or use as a base to explore the area. Nice and quiet with the added excitement of waiting for the planes to wizz by. Highly recommended.
Our stay was just what we expected! A relaxing space with beautiful views to look over whilst in the hot tub! Very clean and well stocked with treats, tea and coffee, potspans etc. It was very peaceful, quiet little space but easy enough to get about if you want things to do. Perfect for the Mach loop! Thank you, wed definitely visit again!
What an absolutely stunning place. The views were spectacular, the owners were more than helpful and friendly. It's the perfect place to go and relax in some beautiful surroundings. Added bonus is it's right on the mach loop! So you can sit in the jacuzzi and watch some amazing planes fly right past.
Property was exceptional in every way. Secluded, peaceful and picturesque. The hosts could not do enough for you, helpful and friendly.
Thank you Berwyn and Helen! The cabin was immaculate, professionally presented, and very clean. We had towels, robes, tea, coffee, pans, cutlery, plates, bowls, etc. The snacks were also a bonus and very delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the sauna, hot tub, fire pit and gas BBQ as well as the National Park walks around the cabin we did not want to leave despite having four nights stay!! Sitting in the tub early morning with the birds and sheep, and also late at night under the stars, was something we won't forget. Truly an unforgettable experience and we will definitely be returning. We loved it so much, we have already recommended Caban Tirion to friends and family thank you again for an amazing stay!
The most beautiful stay, everything was spotless inside ,great facilities sauna hottub bbq,we travelled 6 hours there and 5 hours back ,it was totally worth it !
We spent a week at this property, and it exceeded our expectations! The views were absolutely stunning. Spending the nights in the hot tub, with the views of mountains and the sheep really made our stay. The cabin was beautiful and also had a sauna! The weather wasnt too good for us at the beginning but we still enjoyed it. The owners were absolutely lovely, they gave us a lot of recommendations and we even woke up to an Easter egg on the door step, which we thought was so adorable of them. We definitely will be returning! 5
Lovely cabin. Enjoyed watching the lambs. Hot tub and sauna were great. Enjoyed the snacks and drinks provided, especially the Welsh Brew tea and Jones crisps! Only downside was that we couldnt get the TV to show anything apart from a couple of free view channels, but it had an integral DVD player so we bought some cheap DVDs from a charity shop and watched those! It is possible that we just couldnt figure it out but it didnt seem to be a smart TV. The WiFi was reliable though so if we had brought an iPad with us we could have watched streaming services on that.
Archie
We had an amazing stay here. The owners are lovely and welcoming and the views are unreal! A great place to get away from it all and recharge. Would definitely like to come back again.
An amazing little cabin, everything you need for a quite getaway, we will definitely be going back.
Samantha
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Caban Tirion and can't wait to return in the future! The pictures do not do it justice, it is so much bigger in person! The facilities were all excellent and the goodies on arrival teacoffeefresh milkcrispswelsh cakes were a really lovely touch and just what we needed to start us off before we made it to the shop on day 2! The view from all angles of the hut is incredible and the area is so peaceful. We weren't expecting to be under the mach loop but it was fun to see the low flying military jets and planes coming over only during good weather in day time. The owners are very friendly and approachable and were quick to help with any issues such as we needed the gas bottle replacing for the outside fire very quickly came to replace this for us! The hot tub is larger than I expected from the pictures and is sunken into the deck so deeper than it looks too! The sauna was lovely, particularly to warm up in after getting out of the hot tub in cooler wet weather! There are so many lovely walks directly from the Cabin so can't wait to come back and try a few more of the routes!
Property was lovely had all you could need for a quick break . Views were stunning Definitely going back in the summer
Finlay

Property was lovely had all you could need for a quick break . Views were stunning Definitely going back in the summer
An amazing place to stay. Everything was clean, tidy and in fantastic condition. There was a easy to read welcome pack that talked you though how to switch everything on and all the local ammendaties. The hosts were amazing too, recommending where's best for food, and the best walking routes.
Kirsty
Gorgeous pod with beautiful surroundings! Perfect little escape for me. Very clean! Friendly hosts on hand if you needed but I appreciated you're just left alone to enjoy your break. Couldn't fault at all, would very much like to return.
Beautiful, stylish and cozy cabin in the most perfect location, surrounded by stunning scenery! ! Would highly recommend! Hot tub and sauna topped off the stay! I can imagine during the summer months, its great to make use of the outdoor seating, fire pit & bbq, but equally, it was such a great break & we had the pleasure of staying during a snowy spell. The cabin had everything we needed tv, kettle, hob, microwave & utensils etc. We will definitely be back!
Nathalia
Really lovely and cosy cabin, it was warm and had amazing views. The scenery was so peaceful. It's close to Cadair Idris, which is a great hike, and Barmouth. Using the jacuzzi at the end of the day was so relaxing, especially after hiking for hours. It would have been even better if it had a second frying pan to facilitate making a full English breakfast, but that is only a suggestion. The cabin was 1010. Thank you so much!
Claire
We have just had the pleasure of spending 2 nights in this beautiful and well equipped clamping pod. It's set in a lovely idyllic place with views for miles. You can sit in the hot tub and look at the stars. Then jump in the sauna to dry off afterwards. The hosts are easily contactable and lovely people. A great place to stay off grid for some ultimate chill time. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.
Amazing place and perfect Host was lovely
Ricardo
The property is great and provides a very relaxing and cosy experience. Theres only mountains around and its lovely to see the views from the hot tub. All great!
We had the honour of being the first to stay in this fabulous pod. Everything was of a very high standard. Bed was super comfy, a lovely welcome pack including tea, coffee, milk etc. Hosts were really friendly and welcoming went the extra mile to make sure all was ok. Pod very private, fantastic views. Sauna a real bonus and the hot tub completed an amazing stay. Would highly recommend. Will definitely return. Thank you again Helen and Berwyn
